What material is that cover? I saw in the catalog there were 2 different types.

The fn expensive kind lol. It’s the same as the doo extreme cover for material type. You just get twice as much of it for the same price.
If I still have the box I’ll give you the p/n when I get a chance.

What do you think of the running board hooks?

Was a pain to put on the first time, but the second time I liked them way better than the old hooks that go to the rails. Hopefully they hold up alright.

To be honest the cover kind of confuses me. The doo cover clips tight to their machine and then you pull the drawstring back to keep it all tight. And a clip across for the front end. Simple and works really well.

This one you clip on to the boards then pull it tight but it attaches 8” up from the bottom of the cover so the cover is all floppy between the bottom and where the latch is attached to the cover. Doesn’t make sense to me. And then Velcro at the front?? Seems dumb, unless I installed it wrong as it came some assembly required.

I haven’t tried driving with it on yet so not sure how it’s going to work. Material wise it’s the same as the doo extreme material so it should hold up.

Put the handlebars in the cover first then pull the front of the cover over the nose of the sled, giver her a really good tug and make sure it is all the way forward. then go to the back of the sled and pull the cover over the back, go back to the front and pull the cover over the Spindles and pull super tight then attach the Velcro. Next go to the back and clip the pull strap hooks to the rail or suspension components lower the better, repeat on the other side then the two clips at the front same thing lower the better. Now it should be tighter then a nuns nunny. Lastly you can since up any excess on the top around the handlebar area by the top sinch

I think you got it right. Mine has held up just fine so far after the first 2000km trip. Just took some getting used to on the new running board clips. Damn near fell off the deck trying to pull the rear outside one tight. I like that it doesn't get loaded by the suspension anymore like the old covers did. Should last longer.

Bought some screen material from moflow and installed it over the upper vents in the side panels today.

Put my frog skin screen over the recoil cover holes.

Also installed my muff pot.

Heading out this week for a first ride and see what else I need or what falls off.

if you’re over 200lb I wouldn’t recommend riding it until you get the front track shock revalved. They are way to weak. And the shock bottoms out and damages the rail.

I’m a bit north of 250. First I’ve heard of this issue.
Can a guy crank the spring right up for now till I get time to re-valve?
Who is the guy to take it to for this? Enzo?

a few reports on snowest of it bottoming even cranked up. Who knows how hard they are hammering whoops and other stuff though

I've seen two. Both shocks and spring set to max. Both under 40km. One for sure not ridden hard.

if ur 250 plus gear it's kinda like running a sled deck on a half Ton. might want some air bags haha.

Yeah, not the ideal situation. I'm gonna ship the shock off to Nextech to get revalved. Anyone else with a Hardcore should consider the same, plus a new shock.

better get them to put a heavier spring on it too.
