Anyone had their primary apart and can tell me the weight of the new turbo flyweights? Cannot seem to find the info anywhere.

761 is the new flyweight of the turbo. About 3G heavier than the old turbo flyweight.

My typo. Should have been 992 -yes, part number ending in 761.
3 grams you say? That’s not as much as I was expecting.
Looking to give them a try on a ‘22 that has a bunch of pin weight.
Sounds like it might be worth a try.

992/761. They are stamped 761. There is 2.5 more g of pivot weight on the new turbo

Haven’t ridden it, but the stock secondary clutching was the first thing to get removed and some changes to the primary.

did you remove the primary for those changes? if so, what tool did you use to hold the primary since they've changed them on the '23s?

Yes I removed the primary, and I have the new primary holder from doo.

cool, putting on a clutch kit when i pick up my sled this week but wasn't sure about securing the primary. is the torque value still 89 ft-lbs?

Does anyone have any ride time on the available clutch kits out there right now? iBackshift, SHR, Ibexx? My stock clutching is all over the place on pow days.

I’ve been running Ibackshift in my turbo for three seasons now.

What clicker are you in? Sounds like you have alot of weight on a low clicker position, possibly 1.

Been bouncing back and forth between 2 and 3. Had the Ibackshift in my last three sleds as well. Money well spent. Will probably go with it again this year. Was just curious if they're running as well on the Gen 5's as they did on my G4's and XM.

In the last 2 storm cycles ibackshift clutch kit kept my turbo at 7900-8000RPM anywhere on the hill. Pulling elevation in 3ft of Pow straight up a face steady RPM. I used to run his stuff back in the day on the old sleds and it worked good and now on the Turbos he has it dialed in for them.

Sorry I am not much of a clutch guy I was over revving when it came out of break in. I took it to a mechanic in Revy he had the Ibackshift clutch kits in stock and he put it in for me one night. I think he put in whatever Joey recommended for weights but not 100% sure. I am on clicker 3 and if snow is less than stellar I am never going over 8100 RPM and in handlebar deep it’s at 7900-8000RPM. It’s also a 23 Expert 165 Turbo.
