hope your not thinking i'm a polaris hater. thats all i own. 3 of 'em. question was simply put, do others think that their 850 vibrates quite a bit? i am thinking possibly this one in particular may need a different clutch because of a balance issue.
stuff does get screwed up sometimes. if other ones also shake maybe there is something else going on.

I for one was actually expecting a new clutch from Polaris. Just the new taper won't improve lifespan on the P85. I expected a 4 arm clutch so they could bring down the weight/arm. The rising weights for more power definitely add to the wear. Might still be one of the best clutches on the market but it could be easily improved on and at the same time make them all accept a ring gear if desired. Harmonic weights could also be added for different motors too.

agreed. the 85 is a good clutch but has premature wear issues. heat related i'm sure.

it's amazing how many Polaris haters there are. Time will tell if this engine holds up. I hope its a stellar engine in a sweet machine. if it holds up then I will own one in the future

Every Axys I’ve owned I have ZERO complaints about...well the end hooks on the bars sometimes but loosen them up a smidge and they are back in the good books! Never blew a belt, never keep track of fuel or oil but with a 3.3 gallon can have never been worried about getting back home. I think they’re a well built descent priced sled.

I have a 2017 axys and love it. It's my 8th sled and my 9th will probably be another polaris. I had a dragon and that was a POS after 3 years but I still bought another Polaris. My belts also last forever which is great because of the cost of new belts. Can't wait to ride again this year!!!!

Well, got my 850 home on Friday. It doesn't shake noticeably more than my 2016 800HO did.

Can't wait to see them out on the snow and go for a rip, see for myself.. That was always my struggle with the Polaris was the power delivery compared to the Doo.. Now see how the 850Axys pulls and go from there..

Bumpers can be a PITA. Stock bumpers don't give much protection and are not ideal for lifting the sled. I went with the new Polaris accessory bumper on the front and reused an old Skinz Next Level bumper for the rear. The front is easy to grab while I hope it doesn't hold too much snow. The rear loops upward instead of straight back or down. It also has extended supports that somewhat protect the tunnel edge a bit. I have slid sideways into trees many times and have bent that edge before.

The Arm Candy braces also fit the 2019 A-Arms

Chris...………...you are worried about how much snow the bumper will hold? Reduce one cheeseburger out of your diet this month. That's all its gonna take to even it back up. Lol
