After 3 days of riding I'm so impressed with this 850 that I have a permanent grin on my face although to some it may look like a have a poop stuck.

Thing loves the rpm and just wants to go up. Definitely making me a better rider and building riding confidence in difficult terrain.

About 15hrs and 300km I'm starting to have a cold start issue first thing in the morning where it will start then quit and take another few cranks to get going. No big deal but I hope it doesn't become an problem.

No oil leaks, no track issues, no clutch issues, only true concern I seem to be taking into consideration is I want to get out and ride the damn thing haha. 3 days in a row and the mind wants to go but the body says no.

First day on the 850 yesterday. Burned through a tank in 40 some odd miles. Was an honest 2.5-3 feet of fresh. Proper was to break it in! She was definitely pig rich for the first bit but felt it was getting stronger throughout the day. No plugs, no starting issues just pull and go all day. Was pulling 81-8200 the few times I could see the gauge. Pumped to get out again.

One thing I forgot to mention is this SKS runs too cool IMO. For what trail I have to run it never gets over 111F and stays around 97F,.. pulling a full rpm climb doesn't get over 125F. I have yet to run my scratchers down,.. the bulkhead cooler could probably be smaller or eliminated.

Had 3 days on a new 850. Pretty impressive motor. The first day it sure smoked a lot. Go better by the end of the second day. I did some clutching testing as I found the stock set up to have a 400-500 rpm fluctuation. I tried many different combinations and was getting close to consist RPM and more track speed. First of, the belt drive versions are geared quite high (2.23 final). Chain case models are (2.52 final) The sled was barley using 3/4 of the primary and leaving belt marks everywhere. You could smell the belt after riding it hard. Ill have the sled out again over the next few weeks and hopefully have it figured out and be able to offer some gains and consistency.

I have over 25 hours on my 850 now and it is a great machine but the map is way too fat on the bottom end. This does not hurt much as it jumps on the pipe really fast when the flipper is squeezed. I did change to a stiffer secondary spring now to bump up the operating rpms a tad to get past the burble, sooner. Also have a new primary spring on order and some other goodies to try and clutch around this. It is all about the type of riding you do whether or not this will be a problem. Super deep and tight trees and in and out of the throttle and you won't like it. 3 in our group are all the same and 1 has stock can and the other 2 have SLP trail can. We also assume if you get past the 20 hour the motors are going to be good and not go down.

I have about 22 hours 400 ish km on my 850. I geared down also, as my sled had about 1" or a bit more not used on my primary. I installed the pro quick drive gears on mine giving me 2.38 gear ratio now. Also using Indy specialty full clutch kit witch makes a very nice improvement, faster out the hole and alot better mid range. And rpm hold right on the momey. I'm also rich on the bottom end. Hoping a pipe for this 850 should take care of the extra fuel when they come out.

Got another day in on the 850. Up to just under 8 hrs and about 95 miles so far. Rode again in 2.5+ ft of wet heavy snow. Was a straight up meadow pounding day showing it not one ounce of mercy. The thing ran flawlessly all day long. Not one bog or burble. Running a steady 8200. It lifts up on top of the snow real well. Needless to say I'm more than impressed with this sled so far. Counting down the hours til I can get on it again.

250 miles/15hrs oil line into crank popped of and oil sprayed all over. Build date 10/19. Off to the dealer tomorrow. Besides this issue. The sled is amazing. Engines pulls really hard and the new react front end makes carving and sidehilling effortless.

Is that your tunnel date or the pto side sticker date?

Another weekend in the bag. Smashed up the pow at Blue River. Got about 400 miles now and about 30 hours. Loving the power but still need to get that narrow front end figured out. Actually it’s just my talent that’s lacking. Zero issues.

Almost a good weekend in McBride!! Running MDS weights at 71grams and still 8200-8300. Want 8050-8150. Added SLP competition can otherwise stock and running strong!!! But backing up today slowly and track started ratcheting bad! Pulled it over and driveshaft was busted on PTO side!!! WTf!! Warranty!
