more power means more track speed, and you can go with a bigger track...

kinda what i figured, i'm pretty sure i won't progress past my rev's current cabilities any time soon. so i can tell my wife to relax cause i won't be buyin a turbo...:d

that sure does seem like sweet setup tho.

get it and grow into it.......never have to much power! the E-Tek is light so it will be a fun sled.....good for the trees and hills unlike my Apex which love the hills and hates the trees!

ill tell you what there is to be excited about. a light mountain sled with 220+hp

the advantage of a turbo is just like mentioned. 70mph track speed vs 45-50.

even with the same length track it will perform much better.

doubt it the oil gets to the crank bearings directly.

i would say it will outlast any previous doo model but there is no way its going to get 20,000km turbod.

sorry maxwell you wont see 70mph track speed in a 2 stroke unless you are running 14+lbs boost, i ran many turbos and a pump gas kit will likely see 55ish mph and at 12lbs you will see approx 60-65mph, far cry from pump gas sleds at anything above 8lbs.

It hasn't even been proven yet. I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon just yet overkill. GEEZ!!!
A couple of weekends of riding proves nothing. Let them put 1000 km on it and then pull the motor apart... if it lasts that long.
A lot of things can go wrong, the injectors could fail under the higher demands... the clutches can fall apart... the chassis gets fail points..stuff like that.
Until they iron out all the deficiencies (which I am sure there will be) this to me is still BETA.
