800 ETEC Turbo - very nice

Saw this at the dealer. Looks sick!!!! Craftmanship is nothing I've ever seen in the snow-turbo world. Pump gas, bolt-on....and it works! Built by Trask, he's the leader in Harley turbo systems. Guess he's getting into the snow world.

So... I got some solid, confirmed details. Here's what I know:

Testing is complete. No issues at all, no trouble codes, flashing lights, etc. Extremely easy to install and tune. HP is in the low 200's on pump gas. Retail is $5395.99 CDN. Kits are in production and will be available December 1st. This is directly from RND Customs as they handle all the Trask snow products.

I hear ya there... there's alot of turd Turbo's in general out there. That's what give's turbo's a bad name. Too many amateur's pretending to be professionals.

BUT hope this etec will make it user friendly. because then im all over it.

the only thing that concerns me about this kit is the only sled ive seen it installed on is that short track. in the photo. so obviously no mountain testing has been done.

trevor assured me he would be testing it in my area so ill know soon how it works

Well that's Trask's plan. He made turbo's user friendly for the Harley's and ATV's so we all got our fingers crossed it'll work just as well on the snow. I'll keep ya posted

How can anyone be experienced with building a etech turbo???. seriously i would like to know,

ya there was a "photo" of a 600 etec turbo in the hills last year.

the best we got out if it was that it worked and here is a photo.

that was it that was all.

next in line is this kit which apeared mid summer.....and once again no issues on the trackstand!

i really hope this kit works out like the cat and poo turbo sleds ive ridden. if so it will be a viable machine.

Trask is the leader on turbo set ups. When he sells a kit it works, not like most other hacks out there selling junk kits.
You guys should really look up Trask's website, everything he builds and sells, works, or it isn't for sale.
