Really want a new matrx boost but can’t justify the cost as my 18 axys only has 1700kms so I’m toying with the idea of a turbo on the 18’

I’ve read in the past that there were issues but look to be dialed in now, just wondering who’s done it and if they work fine with pump gas
Thanks

I have rode several of them, Altitude power sports sells the kits and also builds and clutches them, they are flawless, if you run 5 pds with a clutch kit you will be very close to the 21-22 doo, if you run 7 pds with av gas you better build up your hang on muscles cuz they are a rocket, no bogging no hiccups at all and reasonably priced, if I didn't order a 23 doo I would have an 800 with a 7 pd kit and kick some ass!!

The axys 800's work so well with the non-intercooled Silber turbo. 5 lbs runs perfect on Chevron 94 and 7lbs is a 50/50 mix with Av gas and 94. 5lbs is roughly 185HP, ans 7lbs is 200HP. I have build quite a few, install is so easy. The kits now come with flash cables and clutching. I do offer an upgrade to the clutching with different helix and secondary spring for $200 (gearing dependent on what helix). Let me know if you would like to get a kit ordered.

I have a 2018 800 Polaris Axys 174 x3” with a Silber kit. One of dragonweld28’s builds.
It is equal to or better then the boost at 5lbs. I have not tried it on 7 lbs of boost yet. I have had multiple different turbo kits on previous sleds. Aero charger, Boondocker, Boost-It, Red line. And now the Silber. The fit and finish is neat and clean. No extra gauges or big intake sticking out of the hood. Runs good.

I have a bd sidekick works good on pump gas. Clutching was ok from bd. Recently got clutching and gearing from dragonweld. I never rode it at elevation yet but in Sk it feels way different in a good way. Buddy has a silber kit his Clutching is trash. I would 100% recommend getting different clutching than what buddy has. Sled runs good tho.

Don't forget to add in the cost of Extroverts and an anti stab kit, also replace the bottom gear to a better quality one if your sled has a chaincase.

The turbo kits are $4850 plus gst. And as gedakbx said, drivers and and anti-stab and required. Drivers are $449 and anti-stab is $189.

👍. Drivers and anti stab are done. Also have your clutch kit. I’m assuming a guy would just switch the helix to the other notch and add weights?
the kit comes with new primary spring, weights and secondary spring. With your helix, you would use the B side and need a different secondary spring.

Do the Silber on 5lb run fine on 91 or is 94 required? No pumps in town sell 94. Once I find the funds I’ll be going with the 5lb. Dragonweld28, thanks for the video, I’ll hopefully be reaching out to you in the future.

91 will work fine at higher elevation, you will have to be nice to the sled at low elevation, or get some octane booster from a local store.

Important to note that this is for the Axys 800, not the 850. The 850 has a fair bit more compression stock and requires Av gas at 5lbs.
