I have a 98 summit 670 with a 136" track currently which i believe to be 1 3/4inch lugs and i bought a 144" track and rails with 2inch lugs and i have been told by some people that it will not fit, that it will hit the tunnel where it goes around the drive shaft and other people have said i have to buy new drivers/sprockets for the driveshaft that are smaller and then it will work. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or experience with this. Thanks!

Welcome to the site, you came to the right place. You need to go to 8tooth extrovert drivers to get the lug clearance, new bearing and a seal while your at it. No gearing changes need with a 144 and 8 tooth swap.

Or better yet: use 9 tooth extroverts, and drop and roll your chaincase for the track clearance. You neglected to state if your Summit was an X pkg or not - the reg Summit 670 came with 8 tooth drivers and a 2" track, the X had 9 tooth drivers with an 1.75" track.

Yes sorry it is a 670X model. How do you drop and roll the chaincase?
