there are no rules for saftey things.. if the quad industry had roll bars built that needed to be inspected, like NHRA, then they would be safe.. A nice six or even eight point roll cage nhra specs would solve the problem.. also a nice 5 point harness would be nice too.. but it costs money to be REAL safe, otherwise you always take your life in your hands.. so to speak... the cages that can-am or even popo have would'nt pass a thing if inspected to nhra rules...

I'm pretty sure most all of them are ROPS certified cages.

most be a shitty certifiaction then.. ifyou look at that pic.. thats not really acceptable..... on a drag strip i have seen many crashes and they are much more voilent then what a sxs would go thru.. and there roll cages do not crumble like that..

it is a specification from the SAE (society of automotive engineers) and is nowhere near the requirements of a race approved cage.
