Yep 6.2. Identical trucks the ford just looks and feels like a base fleet truck for same price. In sure the higher up models are beautiful so probly not an issue for this guy lol

I'm happy with my 2013 6.2l. I can go to Lethbridge and have the lie-o-meter tell me that I'm at the low 14's in l/100. It is an F350 and not an F250. I have 373's and the torque is different than in my old 6l GM with the 410 gearing. I am down shifting a little more on the hills so that the gas consumption is a little more controlled. I would say that gas mileage is a couple of liters/100 better than in the GM.

In line with the other comments, the Lariat finish is good and I'm happy with the extras. The King Ranch or Platinum would be just a little better and a little more pricey.

We have over 50 of those trucks at work. 2010-2014 Crew cab long boxes 2wd.

Pro's:
As others say cabs are big, and boxes are big they're taller then the GM trucks. I like how they have auxiliary switches in the truck from factory. Perfect for slip tanks, lights, accessories and so on. They're cheap to buy, i don't know about fixing. Have never had a problem with the brakes, rims, axles, or suspension. The 4x4 models have locking hubs which is a huge plus, and now they have went to electronic shift 4x4, which in my opinion on a work truck it would be better to have the manual shift. One less thing to break. The headlights on the 2011+ model trucks are nice, the light pattern is good, and the signal lights are large easy for retards to see your caution lights/signal lights.

Problems we have are leaky exhaust manifolds, gutless, the steps are made of a plastic material that really like to crack in cold weather, they get stuck in everything with the traction control stability control crap. steering wheel feels like junk, made of a injected plastic/rubber, along with everything else in the cab, seats are firm which may not be a bad thing for a work vehicle, but for my personal vehicle i'd like softer. No cup holders for the back seat. Just 4 cup holders in the front. If you roll down a one of the back windows a crack about an inch or two it resonates air pressure in the cab and makes a subwoofer sound. The doors are paper thin, you can hear a lot of road noise. These things turn like a friggen b train, you can rarely rip a u ball at an intersection from the turning lane. residential streets not a chance. The 4x4 models are ten times better for turning radius.

We have had a couple trucks die while coming to a red light. No reason what so ever all the sudden they just turn off.

This is my opinion from using these trucks for the past 5 years.

I have a 350 with a 6.2 in it. I'm not a ford guy at all, but out of all the ford tool trucks I've had this one is by far the best.
Decent on fuel/power running the 4.33 gear set.
