With all the new development in this motor, crank, oiling system, secondary injectors and up graded computer do you think we will see some crazy boost numbers and power output? I cant wait to see how much it can handle..

Maybe 300 tops but it's a ways off yet til we see even that. It won't make real big power until someone unlocks the BRP ECM and can tune it.

I'm not looking for 400hp but honestly after 5 years at 7lbs or less a reliable 10-12lbs would be nice.
Would make a real interesting quarter mile asphalt shooter lol

My guess is 250hp at 6 lbs, 300hp 10 lbs.. Max boost around 12.. Should be all we need to get across the monster first try in three feet of new in our 530lb ready to ride 850

With the closed loop intake runners, bigger boost numbers might be sustainable lol 15lbs with c16. oh yeah!

It would be really hard to clutch something like that. The two strokes offer very little torque on the low end so would not be a friendly mountain sled.
7 lbs boost at elevation is roughly 160-170 hp on a non intercooled sled so realistically you are not taxing the stock components very hard. 10-12 is a whole new bag of tricks but would probably not make much more power on the big end without a proper Intercooler. The turbo would become a big air heater.
A proper intercooler working at 8-9 lbs will yield some substantial track speed on the 850. Expect to see a consistent 65-70 mph track speed no matter what the snow and up to 90 mph in setup snow. The G4 is already geared for it

clutching is always the problem I guess. I already know my aero wont put out well over 9lbs so it would be a garrett w/water to air for sure.

The potential for huge power is there for this motor and some will try. Would be a cool drag racer at 15-16 lbs. would need head studs and some special exhaust work, but I'm sure someone will do it.
