My dad was having a heart attack and well tried to have a smoke and well he couldn't take the pain so he quit on the way to the hospital. Mom still smokes but we are trying to get her to quit now.... I feel better for not smoking but damn I want one.

If I do quit though Ill live longer which means Ill have to support myself longer into retirement which means Ill be livivg in squaller on a cheesy little canada pensoin so its my retirement plan.I figure Ill have enough to live comfortably for about five years after I retire then Ill be broke so if I only make 70 then it would be perfect, besides its hard to smoke pot if you dont smoke because people see you smokin but you dont smoke they automatickly no what your doin.;)best not to start and cograts to those that have quit although theres nothin worse than a reformed smoker bitchin at you because you smoke.

Quit November 30th, 2009. The first 6 weeks were the toughest. We're real creatures of habit. I found myself looking for my smokes when I'd end up in places / situations where I always used to smoke. Once you get over that cycle, it's a lot easier. Thrive lozenges helped quite a bit. Quit those about 8 months after quitting.

8 weeks today for me. Food tastes better, truck smells better, more money in my pocket and will get to spend more time with my beautiful daughters. I could light one in a heart beat. Kept a picture of them on my phone and quite cold turkey after about 14 years.
Its foolish yet so damn good...
