9 years for me. wife said "your going to be a daddy", i reached in my pocked and threw my pack in the garbage and never looked back.

Haven't drank in 15....allergic, kept breaking out in handcuffs, but sadly still smokin'
It's going to be a tough one, I feel there will be a grieving process.....lol

Just over 4 years!! :d spent 3 days in emergency in Edmonton because they thought I was having a stroke... I was 33 at the time and can vividly remember the doctor saying "If you want your children coming to see you in the hospital in a wheelchair doing the funky chickien then keep smoking" Never had another smoke!! Best decision I ever made...

Way to go people,always great to hear stories about quitting smoking and drinking.Zyban worked great for my sister in law who I didn't think could ever quit,too bad her husband wouidn't do the same thing.Remember never quit quitting . Good luck.

I quit chew. Haven't had a dip since new yrs eve. I chewed atleast one big can per dAy. If stressed it was 2 cans. That's $50 a day in ab. Sure did miss it for 3-4 weeks. Wife sent me to the cabin cause I was aparently unfriendly lol. Now I will never chew again. Glad to hear others have quit to.
