28" mega mayhems vs 27" outlaws

Im looking at the 28" mega mayhems and the 27" outlaws for my 2011 outlander 800 but cant make up my mind on which ones. Need help!! Tell me which ones u think and why

I think you should get the outlaws , because I have them and I think they are the best. If you like going in the mud they will serve you the best.

Go with the OL2's, more sidewall lugs than the original OL's

Similar in weight I believe but outlaws are far superior in ability. Your choice should be Zillas vs outlaws

I was looking at the mayhems for the wifes quad as a less aggressive tire then what I run which is the silverbacks. Do you want a more aggressive tire or less?

well i have 26" zillas right now and i love them but i want something more aggressive than that, wanting a pretty agressive tire but nothing bigger than a outlaw or mega mayhem

I don't think those two are in the same league. It should be outlaw, silverback or terminators. Mega mayhems are a step above zillas but couldn't compete against the outlaws. Just for the simple fact that the outlaws and others I mentioned have lugs all the way down the sidewall which give them the edge.

Why not just go to a taller Zilla..........The two tires you are comparing are apples to oranges. A set of 30 inch zillas will keep up with 27 outlaws all day + you can get on the throtttle with a litttle less fear of breaking stuff. If you are pure mud ,the outlaws are way better,but at 27 inchs why bother.........

Zilla: 27x9x12 - 21.5 lb
Zilla: 27x11x12 - 24.3 lb

MM: 27-9-12 - 30 lbs
MM: 27-11-12 - 34 lbs

Mega Mayhem has a .25" bigger lug though.

The Zilla's are a better overall tire. If you are willing to run that much weight in tires you may as well run Outlaw 2s or Silverbacks. Terminators are axle destroyers.

Zillas are a well rounded tire, you want straight mud get terminators and axles.
