I sold my 25/06 i have a old 270 husquvarna which is a tack driver but i hate taking it out out. I have a friend that is selling a remington 700 270 caliber with dies and 200 130 grain rounds vortex viper scope. I have never owned a remington so my question is what do you think i should offer him for it.

Remington model 700’s are a good reliable line of guns. Owned my model 700 300 win mag for 20 years and it’s been an awesome gun. As for price, sorry I would have no idea on what used guns bring for price.

700-1000 Gun Bare
200-300 Scope
50 Dies
250 - 300 Ammo
Everything depends on condition, $1300 would be a good deal on your end. $1600 good deal on his end.

We also have a old 270 husquvarna. My father-inlaw got it from his dad so it is very old. My son received it after his grandpa past away. Always called it the killing machine as he hunted only with that gun for about55 years.

Remington 700 is an awesome series of rifles.
Have a 300RUM Sendaro - go to long range gun.
And as for 270 it is what my daughter shoots her elk with.
Good caliber.

Tikka rifles shoot really well, the stocks aren't the best but the rest of the rifles are top notch. Spend a little more to get a Sako, great guns
