An old thread I see but a great read....lets see if i can get to 25 things....
1. I was named after 2 songs Angie (rolling stones) and Janine (Trooper). My parents loved music??
2. I was told everyday by mom that she "hoped i had a daughter that caused me as much grief as i caused her" I got one ten fold...I lose at least 50 strands of hair everyday by pulling it out. Yet, life would be unimaginable without her.
3. Met my hubby when I was 17. I rode the bus with him when i was in junior high. I saw him a few years later at an Our Lady Peace concert. He was a "rebound". We have been together for 13 years!
4. I believe me and my hubby were meant to be even though neither of us wears our rings and I didnt change my name.
5. I am a daddy's girl through and through. He taught me everything I need to know about how to live my life carefree and possibly my love for buying things and spending money!(this drives showtime a bit nuts at times). Sadly, he died in 2001 at the age of 47. Love you dad. It makes me sad everytime i watch a grown woman with her dad.
6. I am a teacher. my favorite part of the day....the hugs the kids give because i think I may be the only ones in their lives that care about them.
7. Im addicted to clothes and shoes and shopping
8. I LOVE camping, boating and being outdoors but not really at home because that is more like work and less like fun.
9. I am a fitness instructor. I teach dryland and aquasize classes.
10. finished my first half marathon in 2:12 minutes.
11. Was 1 demerit away from loosing my license when i was 20. My insurance was $7000 a year!!
12. When i was 16 my parents wanted to send me to AA. I drank everyday even on the way to school but ended up with honourable mention in high school.
13. I was a "jock" in school and ended up being the captain on the majority of the teams I was on.
14. I am always looking for a workout partner.
15. Holy chit this is taking a long time.
16. I LOATHE laundry. I fuggin hate it. Why cant I just have new clothes everyday?
17. I crashed the first quad i ever bought by myself straight into a tree. I sold it shortly after.
18. My favorite part about snowmobiling and quadding is jumping. LOVE it.
19. My fave song is: Journey, "dont stop believing"
20. I love having fun and being around people.
21. My bucket list includes: writing a children's book, giving and getting a lap dance, running a full marathon, participating in mardi gras in new orleans, learning how to surf in the ocean....
22. I can now fully appreciate my mom. She is the only one i have. The only one i will ever have and i dont need to fight anyone for the family business cause i dont want it. Therefore, I will be her favorite

23. My son has a sparkle in his eye. I think it means we are in trouble but he is so friggin cute.
24. Me and my brothers were trouble some of our fave things to do were: pouring gas down the driveway, lighting it on fire and driving through it pretending we were in back to the future, playing beer darts with steak knives and pulling our trampoline around the yard with our quad while jumping on it!

17...thought it was time to add to this
18 Just lost one of my bestest friend this summer....she was 75 and fought cancer to the end.....she taught me a lot of who I am today and my beliefs.....Rest in Peace Lolly....
19 Love my job...can't think of me doing anything else
20 Miss my winter costumers and can't wait for the season in Dec to begin
21 Hope to start snowmobiling this year again
22 Do not understand why people think they need to live in a city....

1. I used to skydive.... what a RUSH!!! that was in my young and foolish days! I eventually quit as it was very time consuming... and our pilot got killed in a plane crash.... R.I.P. Mel.
2. I purchased a 3 year old race horse from Edmonton, he was a blast to ride.... what a powerhouse!!! I always did like big power under my butt!!!
3. I don't like chocolate.... I know.... weird ass!!!
4. I love Chinese food, especially the Green House food. I worked there waitressing for about 3 years, their food was the best!
5. Sledding is a passion for me in the winter... and the guys that i go with are great. They take good care of me. I have been sledding for about 15 years, yet i am considered the "baby" of the group.
6. I've been to Revy, Valemont, and coquahalia,... and Smithers is still my favorite riding area.... particularly Sinclair, it is the greatest.... Sabolis is a close second though.
7.I love to quad in the summer... the dirtier the better.... gotta love those mud holes!!!
8. I have 5 acres with a trailer at Kelly lake that i like to spend time at in the summer with my family.... and the quadding is great right from the door step.
9. I played rec volley ball for 4 winters.... I was never that good at it but they put up with me.... they were probably glad when i didn't go anymore!! : )
10. I want to come back as a mechanic in my next life.... i love fixing things... I just wish i knew what i was doing!!! ( scary!!! )
12. I live in my shop... I would be so board if i didn't have a big shop to play in!
13. I get motion sick VERY easily.... I don't travel well to put it mildly!!
14. I love hiking... but i haven't done much the last few years.... to busy quadding in the summer
15. I was raised in Vancouver, but much prefer the country life..... and you can't beat the people around here.... they are so friendly!!!

I'll play this game...
1. First and foremost I love my daughter more than anything in the world.
2. I love and adore my wife.
3. I have the best friends in the world, they are family to me.
4. I typed this list out twice now and the computer gods zapped it both times before I got to post it.
5. I like to fish...... I love fishing.
6. I am in the oil and gas drilling industry, started as a roughneck at 16 and worked my way up to drilling consultant and project manager.
7. I love to sled and have an 10 M8.
8. I also have a boat, quad and streetbike.
9. I love the outdoors especially when it involves octane.
10. I love to travel, been all over the world except for South America, thats next.
11. When I was young my family moved alot while my Dad followed the drilling rigs all over Western Canada.
12. I lived in Tehran, Iran for a year as a kid.
13. My Grandmother passed 3 years ago and I think of her everyday.
14. I live east of Calgary and hate it, wish I was back up North.
15. I have three nephews who I miss very much.
16. I think anarchists are idiots, but if they get their way I'm ok with it as I'm sure I'm better armed than they are.
17. I like Crown Royal.
18. I think there's enough problems at home in Canada that could use the money we spend in Afganistan, bring our people home already.
19. I would gladly trade the worlds best steak for the worlds best cookie.
20. All my vehicles are black.
21. My two favorite meals are my Moms turkey dinner and whatevers in the muffpot when I get to the top of the hill.
22. I need to lose 20lbs.
23. I believe that peoples personal freedoms shouldn't be trampled on in the name of imaginative legislation.
24. Yes I do look at womans breasts and butts, this does not mean I objectify woman or will be unfaithful to my wife, it just means I appreciate fine artwork and gods is some of the finest.

I just came home from my medical mission in Romania to find that my very favorite thread was revived while I was away!! Cheers to inspiring, everyday people with a zest for a life well lived...
Why don't you start a seperate thread and post some pictures/stories of your trip. Which organization do you go with? Here's to volunteering for that

1-I have 2 kids, 4 and 3 months.
2-If not for my wife I wouldn't be the person I am today. (thank you)
3-Winter Is my salvation.
4-I went to a one room school house from grade 1 to 3.
5-I have fed and petted a porcupine with out getting quills in my hand.
6-I like beer.
7-I have been sledding since I was 5.
8-Got my first 3 wheeler when I was 2.5. My son now rides it.
9-Technically speaking I am the oldest of 11 kids.
10-Confused by the youth of today.
11-Want to go to antarctica.
12-Potatoes just get in the way of the meat. If your not full after a steak you need to eat bigger steaks.
13-Lettuce with feta cheese is not a greek salad. wish restaurants would get this right.
14-You can't fix stupid. You can teach dumb but can't fix stupid.
15-I think all weather men are full of chit.
16-I like franks red hot, I put that chit on everything.
17-I believe in helping those that can't help them selves, but think those who take advantage should be beaten.
18-I have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Tao
19-I have discovered that sleeping while driving is bad for your health and hard on trucks.
20-I once bleached my hair blond, was told I looked like Billy Idol. Never again.
21-I can't dance.......Unless i have been drinking lol
22-I have flown a helicopter but have no license to do so.

So I think I can do this......
1. On my 40th Birthday I went sledding in the mountains for the first time
( Trail Rider previously)
2. Still haven't forgiven my husband for getting me addicted ( to sledding )
3. My husband, Daughter, Son and Grandson are the most important people in my life
4. I am a First Aid Attendant
5. I own a First aid training agency
6. I love my job!!!
7. My favorite place to ride is Valemont
8. My first sled was an Actic Cat...... so long ago I don't remember what kind
9. I ride an 06 -800 Rev ( I love it)
10. My favorite time of the year is Winter!!!!
11. When I grow up I want to be a Sledbettie ( ok maybe I won't grow up)
12. I hate negative people
13. I like meeting new people
