That's the new one that is located just over a couple hundred feet from the old one.Is that Wrangler cabin new? I remember an old green one there?
Yes it is. Built from a couple of sea cans.Is that Wrangler cabin new? I remember an old green one there?
Was that the last year Fernie had snow like that? Asking for a friend….Here are a few. Mostly from MMV but some others thrown in. A lot of history with regards to that old cabin (sledding history and political history).

That is true. The original cabin was just a pile of burnt out timbers when I arrived in the valley in 2000. I do not have pictures of the original cabin nor the pile of burnt out timers. Rumor has it that snowmobilers accidentally burned down the original by mismanaging the wood stove. The snowmobile club rebuilt the cabin and that is the cabin that is in the above picture. The Green Wranglers cabin was in use then and not in very good shape at that time.Very nice... but that's not the original cabin
The federal government is really sticking their fingers everywhere. They let a pipeline rip through and logging companies but are banning snowmobile trails left and right. Not sure when we gave all of our power away. I'm going to regret posting this lol. Looking forward to whatever this season has for us!Hopefully the club get's it taken care of. Sounds like riders will have to co operateand will need a lot more snow than the last few years so the area remains open ?
