A friend of mine was up Corbin on the weekend and probed only 30cm up high. Was blown away at the lack of snow. Said it was not worth the trip out

They bought a unit in the 4-plex's in Spruce Place, It is a very nice place - Likely nicer than I'll ever own.

How are things looking down there? Wanting to come down the 27 for a couple days. Was hoping to ride from coal creek. Hear they started grooming. I don’t have Facebook so can check the club page.

The club is grooming lots. Was up Coal creek just over a week ago and it was good.

Rode coal creek yesterday. Mostly trail riding. Trails were excellent but a bit slushy/ brown on the new section of the trail. Probed 1.8m in a meadow near the notch.

Anyone end up going to the FSA family ride this past weekend? If so any details?

I was down on the 27th. Unloaded at Coal Creek. Parking lot was pretty full. Trail was groomed and in good shape both ways. Rode to Rolling hills then to Wranglers then went to the notch and back. Snow was getting firm but found some deeper spots where the wind had blown. Sunny day was warm had a great ride.

We did the same ride except went east of the cabin in the late afternoon and found some softer deeper snow. We went home because the forecast said 4cm and it snowed 30cm GEEZ!

Did you find much untracked down there or the Christmas crews have it paved over now?

The best snow we found was down the pipeline 3/4 way to the notch on the right hand side.

Saw a feller get flown out of the Rolling Hills cabin yesterday - hope he’s OK.

I was at the cabin as well when the chopper came and left, heard he had a fractured pelvis after a bad landing off a small cliff drop.

He made it a long ways from where it happened. I talked to him at the Wrangler cabin and he rode there from the Notch (where the incident happened). He was gonna try and make it to Coal Creek parking lot on his sled. He still had a great sense of humor at least.
