We’ll hopefully like the normal govt they will take for ever to get this done like 10 years, and the natives will have forgotten about it.

We can only wish for this

The bands are run like governments the Chiefs and their families will do well but the average folks on the res will get very little. 90 % of the money will end up with 10% of the people. This country has been giving Billions upon Billions of dollars to the bands with no return, giving them more money isn't going to fix anything. History says it will make things worse. Money is not the answer but it is the easy temporary problem solver in the governments eyes. You can't print enough money to fix these problems and with the current government the problems are not repairable. JT is the stupidest person to ever hold that position in this country, he is an embarrassment nationally and globally. Invest tip for those want to recoup some money KFC I heard it was getting reclassified as a traditional food.

You are right. People think our federal govt is corrupt. They haven’t seen an Indigenous band council operate. It’s a hold my beer moment

Went to a concert at the Grey Eagle Casino in Calgary. Owned by the natives. Was supposed to be a source of employment for people on the reserve. I was shocked at who the work force was made up of when we went. Looked like 1% Indigenous, 35% white and the rest were East Indians? Wrong Indians lol.

Those guys dont work. They drink beer and drive quads around all day.

They pretend to be poor, but they are rich.

Most people wouldnt work if they owned a bunch of casinos and the best land in the province...
