Please see below a statement from Keerit Jutla, President and CEO of AME: Early this afternoon, AME was made aware that the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship will not be proceeding with the proposed amendments to the Land Act. Since the beginning, AME has expressed concerns about the way the B.C. government was undertaking reforms, which are intended to bring the Land Act into conformity with the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA). Our engagement with Minister Cullen was done to ensure that any changes made to the Land Act must be done in a way that bring stability and predictability to the mineral exploration industry. AME supports the government’s commitment to the implementation of DRIPA. We know that our members also support this goal, but the way the changes were introduced fostered an environment of distrust and uncertainty. This is not an environment that is conducive to building partnerships and economic reconciliation. We thank the Minister for listening and engaging with AME and its members. We look forward to further discussions with Minister Cullen and the B.C. government to ensure that B.C. remains a competitive, predictable and stable environment for mineral exploration. Through leadership, advocacy and partnerships, AME will protect and promote the interests of mineral explorers and developers operating, or based, in B.C.​

Let me paraphrase the Minister's statement:

"..we engaged the general public and they told a bunch of lies, slander, blew it out of proportion, spread hurt and distrust, etc. So now we're not proceeding with the amendment"

Cant wait for the day, the people of BC Wake Up and vote some kind of sane Conservitive type government in. The FASCISM of the NDP government is currently taking BC to a place they may never get out from. If the people do not do something soon, they will soon become the California of Canada. JMO

Sadly UNDRIP came in under Harper…the UN is anti democracy n should never been allowed to make laws in a country where they aren’t elected…now in BC they’ve identified private land that “ may” have native artifacts if you wanna permit to build you have to pay an archeologist…that’s why 3 years later Lynton BC remains burnt to the ground…who else remembers a UN plane landing in Ottawa for emergency meetings the day before Trudeau used to emergency act to stop honking? UN is the enemy to democracy n imhop will be the lead force to a one world order

Early on during Jab season. Right from a doctors mouth in lytton. He was coming forward with massive documents on horrific results from vaccines on the reservations around the area. Before the feds got there, the town burnt down.

And all the documents just happened to burn up as well? Would you not think this doctor may have actually taken them with him if they were so important? Pretty big leap to say they burnt a town down for this. Much easier to take the doctor out....just saying.

Like I said. Thought-provoking.
Chris from the whistle stop flew down and interviewed him put out a video on YouTube somewhere. The doctor is on tape talking. Might be hard to find with today’s Internet. I’d love to find it, but I only have time in between coats of paint to go on snow and mud. Lol
