So been watching the ski report on Global ever morning. Revelstoke gets 20cm and the base goes up 10 cm. Fernie gets 20cm and goes up 30 cm. How does that work?

global gets the 7:30am. and is still saying that a 6:00pm
if it rains all day that report is not true anymore.
If they report 16cm and get another 20cm before they clean it off at 3:45pm
you get a base increase of 30cm after settling

Only the stupid venture out in these temps. Break down or stuck and you are in trouble QUICK....and then the poor SAR folks have to come retrieve their dumb asses, and they put more people at risk. Not worth it on a good year and definitely not worth it when the snow is low they can barely keep the trail groomed.

Hopefully by Monday it should be a warm enough for us to get back out and enjoy the snow. There Is lots of fresh but we are still touching the odd thing. One more good storm and a person should feel safe dipping their skis.
