None of you excuses for the trail hold up for the weekend/ends in question. Each excuse has also been given a solution by others, not only me.
Renshaw is a long ride, but it also has a reputation to many seasoned riders that choose to stay away.
Oh and I have been riding Renshaw when there was no groomer or cabin and still ride the few open areas around Mcbride that see no groomer to this day. Bad assumption.

How about dealing with the problem's soloutions instead of dwelling on "that's it, thats all we can do" when that is not at all the case.
Biggest managed area in BC could provide sooo much more income for the the town if this got cleaned up but pretty clear excuses are easier.

Just beatin a near dead horse on this and I see nobody is gonna call the vet to save it either.
Just let the topic die it's slow death, enough bad press on it alrady for no results.

Hope everybody had a great family day weekend where ever you where.
We had a sled crushing weekend.....lol
Nobody hurt just some A arms and bumpers.

We found that the renshaw is a good mid week ride, but not on the weekends, too many clowns.

If it’s anything like Valemount theres about a foot of new snow on top of slippery concrete. The -40 in the alpine cold snap last week coupled with high winds really gayed up the snowpack.

It snowed Fri, Sat, Sun. But the wind was heavy! The people i went up with rode Belle both days staying low in meadows, skidder trails and tree. Good snow there up to 2 ft. But up top whiteout.

We rode Renshaw yesterday Mon Feb27th and at the end of the day on the trail down my tunnel bag came open at some point. I lost a new pair of black gloves, my lunch, and a couple of other odds and ends. We’re riding Renshaw again today and hoping to maybe see them on the trail. If anyone happened to pick them up last night or this morning you can PM me here or I’ll be riding a green 2016 M8000 with a 174” track. The sled has a fairly busy wrap and I’m dressed in essentially all black Klim gear. Thanks to anyone who reads this.

Perimeter ride of Renshaw and all known pockets.
I'm thinking we might crack 400km in 2 days.

Over the two days fuel will be our limiting factor........
You are a wild man Randy. We hit Lucielle on Monday. Not great as we were expecting alot more after all the winter storm warnings. But had a fun bluebird day. About 14-18" of fresh and only about 6 riders in there. We had the place to ourselves for about 2 hours. I enjoy just going for a rip with my son. Hard to find time with work schedules etc.....

Hope it keeps snowing in Mcbride - got some friends wanting the perimeter tour on 11, 12.
Should be able to cover it in 2 days with 4 riders, if they get up early.
I’m sure your friends will be up early and have lots of gas

The Alberta side locations are now all out of bounds.
You hit either Wilmore or Kakwa so its park and $$$$ fines when caught, unless you go to the Morkil but that is the worst avy crossing I have ever seen anywhere and it slides regularly EVERY winter. A 1 mile stretch of plain crazy no escpe terrain that we no longer use. Way worse than any of the Dores or Horsey, just nasty. Only escape is over the waterfall and neither outcome is desirable.

Your first picture you were only a few miles from the border as the crow flies. Good luck with those trees behind you.
Huge area back there with all kinds of pockets to hit when Renshaw is "tracked out".
Exploring is the fun part. There are several other locations to get back to Alberta, good times exploring for sure.
Bring gas and have fun!
