Looking forward to going this year with chauffeur TKO! Nothing like door to door Uber Transportation! lol
I might try to sneak aboard. I plan on drinking too much to drive home. MAXWELL's buying.

I wonder if there is a refund guarantee for Covid show cancellation for vendors? I thought there were a lot of upset vendors over the cancellation of last years Sportmans show?

The funds would be kept for next season I recall. I was a bit skeptical myself as its a large sum of money. Same as with my Big Valley Jamboree tickets with 9 spots at $1100 a pop, No refunds just transfer to the following year, too bad only two people paid it. The rest can pound sand for the next time.

It would be pretty tough to support a function like that ever again. You booked an event, the event didn't happen, return my deposit/payment. Could you imagine trying to run a private business like that?

On the BVJ if I request my deposit back I loose the spots, had them for many years. With the ASA we pay 1/2 the booth space, if it doesn't happen I would say we get our money returned. Lets not even think that though. We all want this to finally go again.

So with the show cancelled last season we finally made some money in October. Other Octobers that we had a booth we had good sales but the show ate up the profits. This is why it is hard for vendors to give "show discounted pricing". It would actually make more sense to increase prices for the show. The show should have been moved to a lower cost Red Deer location.

It needs to go to a smaller venue and be run by a group of clubs with manufacturer support. The only one making huge coin at these events are the promoters and the venue. What they charge is absolutely staggering.

I didn’t mean passport I was wondering if they will ask for covid cards like they are doing at the cfl and nhl games you can’t go to the games without the card this is a very large show and large crowds

the snowmobile show is the Largest fundraiser for the Alberta Snowmobile Association, however the costs that they incur to put this on is also VERY VERY high.

I don't believe that will be up to the ASA as much as it will be up to the facility owners.
Not sure what you guys are worried about. Trudy will have his majority by then and the whole country will be locked down for the 5th wave.

Actually, there's a whole new virus coming along. Covid might be yesterday's news by then.

Well the part about a new virus? Too late. That has already been talked about by whatshisname the communist leader of the WHO.
