Here’s mine. Started out as a 17 SP 153”. Now it’s a Frankenstein of multiple sleds. Some custom work done by me and my shop. Not too crazy of a build!

Just curious of you have had it out with the Aluminum big wheel kit? I had a set in the past that would get an ice build up on the OD of the wheel causing a bad vibration. Ended up chucking the wheels in the bin.

Yes I have actually. Those pics were after I installed some new powder coat. I actually ceramic coated them before I put them on. The snow doesn’t really build up in the T3 skid as is but I wanted to see how well ceramic will hold up on bare aluminum, so far so good!

If you weren’t there you wouldn’t know, good ta love the old days

Nope, don’t miss those un-groomed ch!t ass trails that busted you up on you extra-10 polaris suspension with 8” of travel. Or you meant the fire breathing back spitting carbs all over you cool jacket.

The only thing cool about 90’s sleds where the running board coolers that kept your feet warm…. And mayby a piped 680 ultra.

This I will say. A build today is nothing like a build 15-20 years ago. And a lot of the builds from back in the day will still lay a licken on todays stuff.

Agreed. Seen a sick 440 cat that was bored to a 500 and extended to a 144. Was a big deal and climbed too. But that’s not what we’re talking about. I wanna see some new modded machines from Polaris to Yamaha. Let’s see ‘em!

Oh I was there, And I loved every minute of it. But would I give up a G4 850 for my 94 583 summit with plastic paddles? would i go back to 98 700 RMK with TWIN PIPES!!!! HEAD, REEDS, PORTING bla bla bla and spend most of the winter trying to get it dialed in, not likely when you can go pick up a stock sled, chuck a cooker on it and put 3000km a year for 3 years under warrantee?

Here's out first mod project this year - my 9 year olds machine. No real heavy mods here, although I did pull the heads and give them and the ports a bit of a clean, rejetted and added a tempaflow and mostly color. He did alot of the work, including half the wrap which I'm pretty proud of. He's proud of his machine and I'm pretty sure he's going to take great care of it!
