E-Petitions have a hard time holding legal standings.
That is the problem with these MAKE MONEY sites people use for the petition.
They dont tell you the legal validy.
They ask for the 7 bucks and share like this petition did to me.

Here Sicamous club members are going through alot of drama also.....
Maybe just dissolve the clubs.
Have a business come in and charge us trough the arzz hole to ride 2 mountains...Lovely.

Sicamous doesn't have a club. They are that business charging through the azz you speak of.

Kimrick is right. Why and how were you nominated to the board and then not ? Were the bylaws not being followed by the president and or vice president Greg ? Please tell us what happened. Also you dont need a shaede petition to call a special meeting. Just send a request with 5% of the membership in good standing for a special meeting to be called. Says it right in the RSC bylaws.

I would ASSUME, with all the changes to the board.
And by what is posted by revy club, that there was not a functioning board to hold (Regular meetings) or function as a board.
Again, that would make sense to cancel a regular meeting to get a functioning board sorted out first....
Meeting cancelled for the 26th. Response released 1 day after the postponed meeting giving reason why meeting was cancelled and new meeting scheduled. Looks pretty responsible and normal to me....
If I am reading between the lines correctly? It sure looks like what happened here.

Would make 100% sense and be a normal function of any responsible board and be 100% the correct way to do it.

I am sure if a regular monthly safety meeting (General or regular meeting) was cancelled at your work, that you all would not be up in arms...Slamming you fists on the table demanding to know why it was cancelled..
You would just go to the next one. Too funny.

Guess we all should have had a little more patience. LOL!

The “club” is a private entity in the form of a non-profit organization. By law they require a constitution and bylaws. Recreation and Trails BC has quite a process for the registration and operation of “clubs” under their thumb.
