I hope the riot is what it’s rumored it will be. It may force doo to unlock some of the HP hidden inside their 850.

Right? If you can't sidehill a G4 then quit running your mouth. And yes that means both ways. Right side too not just left lol[/QUOTE]

Right again! I thought I was the only one. However I get the feeling he stays off the right side, except when he is cat walking, is because they haven't solved the exhaust plugging off on the turbos. Maybe it's just me.

Unless you have spent an entire day in good snow I believe it’s pretty hard to give an accurate assessment of how that machine performs. A 20 minute rip is not a ride. Sorry. First impressions are lasting and what time I’ve spent on a doo 850 I can tell you it is not hard to side hill guys.

There are no bad sleds and after owning an 850 doo they are not hard to side hill.
No recent sled is hard to side hill but many people can not side hill any brand.

no kidding, these new sleds are very easy to sidehill, if people find these difficult I should round up a v-max4 and turn them loose, now those took a lot more effort lol

snochuck is rite, they are not that hard to sidehill, the hard part is changing your belt when the machine is leaning towards the mountain on its clutch side. don't know what that's like? buy a Gen 4.

I own a G4 and on its original belt so far So i dont know whats its like. My buddies turbo has a 391 belt on it and he does not know whats it like to blow a belt either.

I remember a year where cat had belt issues and they didnt even get shipped with a secondary clutch one year. All manufacturers have their problems.

You mean suzuki? Textron hasn't built ****.

They never manufactured the motor but it was their design team working with Suzuki, and with no plant to manufacture and no government money to build said plant kinda tough

Certainly rather change a belt than a tunnel!!

Hmmmm wonder how many got screwed on belts and how many have been denied tunnel warranty......hmmmmmm
If so worried about tunnel just put a 1.5x1.5 x3/32x16" long aluminum angle inside the top of the tunnel for prevention. Pop rivet in place with 6 rivets - room in tunnel.
Under $25
Waaay simpler than trying to fix a belt burner...just sayin....

Now before to much salt gets in that old/fresh wound let's get back on topic of the new hot iron.

I’d be surprised if Cat released an 850cc or bigger machine, but I suppose it’s possible. They’d be better off firing the entire marketing department, and hiring a group that actually knows what they are supposed to be selling. Good on Doo for coming out with further refinements to the G4 chassis, it should improve an already decent sled. Honestly, I don’t think any brand is being left behind these days, but they are gonna have to put a cap on pricing soon, as ALL of them are pricing themselves out of the market. Hard to attract new riders that way...

Aside from the accessories, I think the expert is a really nice sled. Not nice looking the graphics are horrible, but a wrap can fix that.

In them hills.
I thought you were smarter than that bud? But you keep bringing that story back to the trough for the uneducated to feast on.
Hey prove to me Bombardier has never had a government cash injection.

Bet you can't.

An I am not talking BRP.

I'm really surprised that the handgaurds and remote limiter strap aren't just options, little disappointed about that, the colors aren't the greatest either. And the new spindles and skis are useless if you put different skis on it anyway.

If dealerships would take back the 146 track and rails and give a credit on a 3" 154 and rails. That would be the way I go. Especially since I've got aftermarket shocks, skis and bar set up already. Plus you could get all black. Only thing you'd be missing is the running boards. But I dont think dealerships take back the 146 rails and track.
