My cousin keeps talking about wanting to go up your way for Elk..... Maybe next year.

I got antlerless moose, bull elk, and both antlerless and antlered mule. I should not have got drawn for the moose or elk. My brother also got antlered moose in the same zone as me. Gonna be a busy season!!!

My wife drew her early season bull moose for 356. Will be spending a few nights on the river for that one. Looking forward to that.

When the trees don't grow were the elk cross you have to make a tree for a stand.
14' to the deck, some nice deer in the area also.

Well apparently I did get my cow moose draw for 504!
Went to get my general moose tag for 248 Archery and Cabelas says sorry sir you have cow draw, we can no do that.
And I just happen to have two cows on camera at the farm both within 1 mile of the house.
But zero elk on camera this year just old tracks.
Friggen geese out there everywhere.

They are doing short test flights and starting to bunch up.
They are starting to land fields
Saw lager groups north of Gunn on Monday
Smaller groups at farm.

I best get ahold of 'yellow' see if he got his field permission back yet....... no time for hunting until we find new residence for ourselves...... Sept 24 the new people take this place

Got all my permission’s handled and cameras out.

Picked up a new hunting buggy and sold the HDX700.
Kids like the upgrade.
