No he can’t sell it for a year and half

I asked two Demon owners I know on another site and they know nothing about an anti resale contract, both said the only contract they had to sign was the pre purchase contract releasing them of liability.

I've pounded the web trying to find info on this but can only find the pre purchase liability contract, no mention anywhere of an anti resale contract. Is it maybe a dealership contract? A "if we can't resell it for a markup, neither can you" kinda deal? You would think if it was a Mopar contract that info would be easy to find.

If everyone had had to sign one how come there are so many used ones for sale? They were being resold before they even delivered the first one, FleaBay had 20 on there before the first one was delivered. Guys were selling the right to buy their allotment, how would that work if they had to sign such a contract? I think your buddy might be mistaken.

If you could ask him to provide more information (besides just his word) I would love to read it. You've peeked my curiosity.

This guy didn't sign one if there is one, he's making a business of reselling them.

From the link, "there was nothing in the paperwork saying he couldn't resell the car, Trevino said, like the deal Ford has set up on its GT supercar barring its first owners from reselling until 24 months have passed"

I'm betting the stealerships are the ones responsible for the contract. They probably can stand the thought that someone would re sell and make more money on the sale than them is all.

When I bought my last truck the dealership made me sign a contract saying I wouldn't sell my truck in the USA for 6 months.

Brother just bough a Dmax with the same contract. Must be US dealers complaining about cheap Canuck trucks going south....

I think it has something to do with trade laws I was told years ago. Guys I knew were buying new 1 tons, driving them for 6 months and flipping them down south through brokers and driving for free basically.

I asked my dealer about this contract on the resale of the demon, he said there no such thing other than a liability paper that is signed making sure that the new owner understands what he/she is buying.

Their demon is marked up quite a bit tho, so maybe that’s the difference???

Definitely a dealer specific contract. Curiosity was killing me so I called the Demon concierge line and they said no such contract exists from Mopar. Interesting they are dooing this with coal rollers too.

Wounder if Mopar would sue you if you did sell like Ford did to John Cena?

I saw a video video of him trying to shoehorn himself into his GT, pure comedy.

Yah I definitely would not be signing any contract, that forbids me to do whatever I wanted to my vehicle, after it leaves the lot. The discount on the sale price would have to be 20g or more to convince me otherwise.

The deal with the Demon is every dealer had to submit the sales contract to FIAT to be allotted their car (or cars) and the ones that sold for sticker price were delivered first, with more desirable lower VIN numbers, but dealers are free to charge whatever they want, the more they charged or if they didn't pre-sell their allotment they would take delivery last. What an AMAZING car those Demons are. And I'm not at all a Dodge guy but Dodge is killing it right now. Check out the Trackhawk, wow.

Some more Vette porn..
