if the released 0-60 times are correct the only thing a stock hellcat will see is tail lights 2.8 seconds with 495hp vs give or take 3.5 secs with 700hp. 3346 lbs vs 4470 lbs makes a big diff.
Read an article that said within three years GM will have an AWD gas/electric version with a twin turbo DOHC V8 pushing 800 to 1000HP for the back wheels and electrics handing the front wheels. If you think this version is bad ass (which by all accounts it most certainly is) just you wait, the best is yet to come. Also can't wait for the Z06 and ZR1 models.
This car is pure bad ass.

The Ford guys are a little apprehensive about this car, being affordable and available to anyone. And 1/5'th the price. And that little pesky detail that Ford dosent even build the GT, Multimatic does.
This is is a extra inning World Series winning walkoff grand slam for the General.
Game changer....
But they can’t build a one ton and keep it under $100k mmmh.Read an article that said within three years GM will have an AWD gas/electric version with a twin turbo DOHC V8 pushing 800 to 1000HP for the back wheels and electrics handing the front wheels. Guess we will see the numbers when the vette is actually released.
The demon is a 135g car but with the low production numbers, the dealers are asking stupid money for them.
And that's with Dodge's attempts to force dealers to sell at sticker, there were a few measures in place so that didn't happen but where there is a will there's a way. One dealer bought 2 for themselves and registered them and resold them at a huge markup while the car never left the showroom just to skirt the rules.
A couple large GM dealers stateside that specialize in Vettes said they are only charging MSRP, no mark up. That's pretty cool givin the demand and collectibility factor of the first year C8. Heard some dealers are having lotterys to win the right to buy one. They will be sold out in no time

might be better off to just put an aftermarket twin turbo on the cheap one any ways.
For most of us it’s fun just to say twin turbo.Plus it is awesome just to have twin turbos
I don’t believe the dealers can or did do that with the demon! My boss bought a demon and had to sign a legal contract saying he can’t sell that car for a year and a half. If he does they can take legal action against him. And it’s a bad ass car!
Can't find anything specific to the dealer that bought two and titled them but here are a couple good reads. And agree the Demon is crazy cool and FAF.

Never heard of them making you sign a contract that you wouldn't re-sell it, are you sure that's not the waiver they make you sign releasing them of liability? Pretty sure it's just Ford making buyers of the GT sign the no resale within a specific time frame contracts.
And those still don't work.
