Nice pics Ron. My neck and shoulders feel like 385 riders. Trail was hammered coming down. No groom, ouchhh.

Sun poked out on the backside just enough that we could rip. Funny 385 riders we seen 3 guys on the backside and had over the hood fresh tracks all day. Came down on fumes again.

FYI, the weather is turning for the worse in the fox creek area, the wife says the weather is still good in edson, but if the weather is bad in McBride it won’t be long before Edson weather gets worse, Mcbride and edson seem to share weather patterns, and there are weather warnings for alberta.

Road renshaw, trail up was ok a bit bumpy, trail down was quite rough. Went in 27 in to black water. Then in to the upper blackwater meadows, about 18”-20” fresh. Then made our way to ghost lake,
Areas in there about 24” to 30” of great mashed potatoe powder, then to Alberta hill it was wind blown there then back towards the drop towards the gateway to sprit lake. The snow on the way there was just sweet 24” to 36”. One guy in our group caught a tree with his a-arm snapped the upper one. He road for the rest of the day no problem. We put 130 km on today. The parking lot was pretty muddy. We parked in the 1st lower level.

Sure did, had many of these deep snow days. And hoping for another one for Easter to close off the season, should have 3K on sled.

Just curious if they are going to groom the renshaw trail tonight (night of the 28th). We were thinking about going up Monday morning, but heard the trail was pretty whooped out.

What time you heading out? I'm in valemount and just got my kids down. Now time for a rum. But i usually get a wake up call at 7:30 from my girls.
