The renshaw did not disappoint today, 125 sleds infront of us at 10am this morning, probably only saw 20 sleds all day, there was just enough sun so see well, had a time in the anthills... lots of snow bumper to headlight deep. Burnt a tank of fuel in 55 miles in the sidewinder today

Ooofta. Not the best light for that adventure, or wind for that matter... but I dont doubt it was worth it.

Actually I thought it was awesome, it was kinda sunny but the wind was Next not nothing, it was a bit cooler on that side, but We had a great day.

Brrr, we wanted to head back to spirit, but We bailed and headed home Sunday, It was alot colder at spirit on Saturday than the rest of the mtn, I ended up with frostbite on my nose. We could feel it getting warmer as we made out way back to Ghost lake.
We had two amazing days, the renshaw trail is in good shape, it could be widened a touch.
Hopefully this cold snap doesn’t last long and another reload happens.

We were actually colder on Saturday than we were on Sunday. We could tell the farther you went on Saturday, the colder it got. Sunday the coldest part was the trail, we think the trail was closer to -30. Alpine got warmer because it was full on bluebird. Could also tell that the snow consolidated a lot from when it came Tuesday - Wednesday. Was really only bumper deep at most buy Sunday. Forecast for the next week and a half doesn’t look great. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to reload again.

We went deep at Renshaw today. We rode past a tone of untracked snow.

I’m thinking the peak on the left is Presbyterian Peak in kakwa.

Post some more pics, that is not Presbyterian though.
There is no face like that, not even on back side. Presbyterian should be a couple miles to the left of where you took this pic from, you on top of Interpass Ridge????

How far past Spirit did you go my fellow explorer!!!
There is a peak like that in South part of Kakwa, Ridier is close to highway????
Alexander has a face similar but way far away.
You about 8km past Spirit???
I believe the one in the right of the picture is Forgetmenot.

But that is just my uneducated guess.....

Up Belle, yesterday. A short burst of blue sky, just enough to reach cabin then overcast. Most of the open parts of Little and Big Belle are tracked. We hit a bit of the burn and it was good 10-12 inches but warm weather was setting it up. Trees behind cabin still good 10-12 inches, lots of untouched down there off skidder trail. Snowing lightly in valley this morning!
