So who is snow checking one of these belt blowing, oil guzzling, crank eating POS this year?
I am! Can't wait! I'm like a giddy school girl waiting for monday!

Damn why did ya have to say that. Engine blew up today. 2350 miles/100 hours.
I see things haven't changed much for long term durability. I never had a rotax exceed 3,000km. Atleast under my use 2-3,000km i was on borrowed time.
I have seen plenty exceed that but mostly non aggressive meadow muffin rider's. After 10yrs of popping new motors in my doo's every season i got a little tired of it.
Between that and clutches...F..k them.
800 etec was rock solid.I see things haven't changed much for long term durability. I never had a rotax exceed 3,000km. Atleast under my use 2-3,000km i was on borrowed time.

Jhurkot rides a Polaris. Cool story though.
800 etec was rock solid.
Magic touch? LolYes i have seen that and have plenty of riding buddies that ride them. I just seem to blow them up.
Magic touch? Lol
I have towed four rock solid reliable yamis off the hill. They ain't cheap when they blow. Yesterday needed to remove a broken scratcher. No tools on the doo. Buddy on turbo nitro had a full socket set. Why is that?
I really have no idea just how good those Sidewinders are, haven't seen one on the mountain all fawking season.
Guess I have to get above and out of them meadows...lol
We roam in areas off the beaten you normally just see a blue streak, we only slow down when we have a doo on a tow rope behind us.
Guess that explains why you put so many miles on haha
Sidewinders look a lot like the Nytro's did?We roam in areas off the beaten tracks you will just see a blue streak, we only slow down when we have a doo on a tow rope behind us.
Haha yep. I'm sure they are great, just never see
Them. Someone come show me please. Cause
Doubt I'll snow check a new doo.... don't know
What to buy any more...
I was suppose to be sledding today but going to meet the local Cat manager here in town this afternoon, we trying to work out a deal on an 18 acsender for my next build project and NO its not to replace the SW, i ride with an Acsender and couple of G4 buddies, neither will hang with the SW for the type of riding we do, only in the THICK OF IT they do a little better and you don't need to be a scientist to figure that out.
Sleds are easy to buy, i see a poop load of new ones every time i go out. Mostly hanging out poking here and there, but never too far and thats OK. I would expect that non would come back on ropes unless they are well used and have mileage on them, like an older model.
Either way, we ride by a rule with the boys i ride with. We don't tow and i will never ask to be towed. Mostly because it is impossible to tow the sled out, untracked with too many chutes and big F'n climbs to get over to tow out. That's what chopper's are for, we pool the cost if it happen's.
Maybe why you don't see too many Winders around lilduke, go to Area51 and Keystone.
