Have no pictures of the bottom to show counter sunk bolt head.
Puck board was free and it's about $115 with freight to get the aluminum ones....this is more solid spanning tunnel, no flex like the individual pair of adaptors.

We have used puck board in the past with undesirable results. It fluctuated a lot with temp change, popping out rivets etc. Now we were using a larger piece which would have more movement. Yours sure looks good and you did a nice job, I do hope it works for you. This is just an FYI. Keep a eye on it for a bit, you don't want to lose all your stuff.

What does mountain addiction make their full width rails out of.
A little denser polypropylene?
If it should come loose it will get the center cut out and become 2 pieces and come in only 4" from each side.

Looks good Randy. Steel or aluminum rivets???
Did the holes in the plastic get drilled a little bigger to allow for the plastic to contract and expand??? Maybe if the rivets are a issue countersink the holes in the plastic and use a countersink screw??? I think it will be fine but the other poster made a great point on the rivets pulling.

I'd guess they are an HDPE.

They are stainless steel 3/16 X1/2" head rivets with 1/2" backer washer in the tunnel.
There is 2 sided tape full perimeter of mount but nothing will stop thermal expansion if it's going to happen.
This is a much denser than normal puck board also used in countertops.
There is no heat exchanger in this location of the tunnel (not a doo or poo..lol) so there will not be much of a heat cycling happening.
If it loosens I will make one out of aluminum.....this one was easy and FREE for a first run.

I am not sure what Mountain Addiction uses and not a plastics expert, just passing along info from past attempts. I do know plastics have come a long way and are very good now. I hope you have no issues, it was just an FYI to keep a eye on it. Our experience we installed some puck board in a heated shop, went home 10 minute drive -30, and the board had shrunk to the point of popping rivets out. It was a larger piece so there would be more movement. I used to deal with Redwood Plastics in my last job they had outstanding products and knowledge, totally amazed how tough that stuff is now.
