with those temps it will be hit or miss forsure. but 20cm at 0 degrees could mean a bad trail and amazing alpine!

Basically we are at the same altitude here as km 20 on the Renshaw trail and it's melting hardcore right now in town. This weather is not gonna help get the snow down to start grooming for sure. But it is also still only mid November.

Think we are going to give it a go early next week on the bikes. Hopefully it doesnt melt to much down low.

Here's to hoping both snow and temps drop.

Plan to ride Monday. Is there any snow at all down low? Bikes dont really like gravel with a ski. We are hoping the forcast is right and you get a big dump this weekend.

My concern is that the forecast as far as temperature goes has been wrong almost all week in town. Keeps shooting above the forecasted high by about 5-6 degrees. Forecast said -3/-4 overnight last night in town and this morning it was already 6... Not sure where the cool air is going to come from to bring the snow levels down to what they are forecasting. Have a feeling the 25-30 cm of snow forecasted for town on Saturday will turn out to be 25-30mm of rain all the way up to 12 or 1500 meters.

Our forecasted low for Saturday night here is +7. Which is only about 35 miles across the mountains from the Renshaw cabin. I can't see there being anything other than rain down low. I want to get out too.....but watching all our snow disappear from the last storm and the yard now back to grass again is very discouraging for sure.
