I have said this in the past.. Revy/sicamous should be a big BRP testing grounds, with full parts for all machines on site, rental shops, full service bays.. Still buy threw your dealer but have new product release and ride there.. Custers is nice, but a much bigger enterprise overall needed

So Fernie, you have had the 174 and now the 165 3 inch For 18 would you go with the 165 or the 175?

Hahahaha..............Good question Bert.

The G4 has been a much more enjoyable sled than the T3. The stiffer track and more torque of the G4 get me to the same places (maybe even more) and it seems to get me there easier. The G4 also has gotten me out of a pickle much easier than the T3. If I lived out on the coast with the depth of snow and amount of reloads, I would think seriously about the 175. For where I am living/riding now, I'm thinking the 165 will be just fine and that is where I am leaning at this point in time.

I can tell you it will have electric start.

That is probably correct. The new technology is great but like Tex says, "I live too close to Alberta" and we have our colder weather. I can't imagine pulling that 850 over at -25 even once. If I had arms the size of my legs, I don't think it would be a problem.

Not Sure
Thanks Doug, 165 sounds like the way to go and stick with 3 inch. I wouldn't have a sled without electric start regardless of temperature.

Some pretty wealthy friends are not buying. Too much for a sled they are saying and I agree.

174 T3 with turbo for that price...

That's a tough pill to swallow. The price for new technology I suppose.

Once again fred has fibbed just a little bit. MSRP on a Black 175 with SHOT is $17149 plus gst in Alberta. Don't blame the manufacturer if you have to pay 2 taxes on your purchase. The government is making more on the sled than the dealer. There is nothing in our lineup that is over $20,000. They are pricier than last year by about $300-$350 depending how you configure one. We all know fred will not be buying one but if he were to his would be well over $30,000 with a turbo, carbon fiber chassis, titanium a arms and Kmart skid.
