Took the little boats out today first ride of the year. Wapiti is high and dirty , some crap floating but not bad. We only went from Magoos down to the Big Mountain mouth and then up big mountain for 20-25 minutes. Fun little creek , lots of big sharp rocks and rapids due to elevation changes. Gotta get up all these little creeks the next few weeks cause later in year they’re impossible . Beautiful day.

This is gonna be an "I told you so " , kinda post, in a season or 2 !!

The new Bratt Jet Timberwolf , gonna be a huge seller in next couple years.

Bratt has always had an awesome hull , great spray line, and high quality workmanship. Unfortunately , IMO anyway, the raised bow deck thing on the Bulldog is just not pretty and the Ridgeback , better aesthetics but had such a low dash you constantly bashed your knees all day , kept them from competing with a couple other builders. But ....... I say that's gonna change soon. Updated reworked aesthetics, attention to consumer demands and a price expectation maybe a little less crazy as some of the competition, I think is gonna result in seeing a lot more Bratts on the river soon.
Beautiful boats.

This is the reason I have never owned a bratt.

Some great looking fishing set ups on this thread. Anyone interested in trading a day of fishing for a day of wake surfing?

Got my boat out of storage this week, to find that it’s covered in Cat piss. Was not impressed at all. And even less impressed that a tire had gone flat on the trailer, and EVEN less impressed when the air compressor hose wasn’t long enough, then even less impressed when I rolled forward 5 feet and the tire came off the bead, AND THEN got sand in everything so there’s no way it would seat on the wheel. To top it all off I forgot to disconnect the battery so I got to play clean up on connections and play hamster wheel simulator and charge the battery... went to go start it up, and no key in th ignition.... searched for 3 hours today trying to find the friggen key to the thing.

But hey, it’s got new tires, new leg oil, clean interior, and I did a good job winterized and ran the carbs dry because it fired right up like a champ.

Sounds like a good day. I put gaskets in the carb, air in the tires, put in 100$ at the airport to top off, drove 100km to the nearest open launch, got my truck stuck, went boating, lost some 200$ "floatable" dragon glasses, got everything muddy getting the truck and boat out, put in 230$ at the airport on the way home.... SMILIN!

did get the boat into the 90s a few times!

I went with that green boat last weekend! It’s fast! Did he get his big motor in it yet?

No he said the one in it now is 475hp, but he has a 700+ hp motor for it too I guess.

Those Step Tek's are a cool little boat. That's probably what Id get.

Awesome boats, my 21' narrow is the same width as the 19s. My 4th eagle plus the race stuff. Love em. Best part is big motor, little motor is all still fun!

been on the lower red with a couple 19s with ct525 in them, what a blast
