If your rollin' a Platty you can drive up 25% further on bad logging roads, its been proven.
As far as four places: Why not just ask yourself... Can you turn around a 36' trailer with Your half worn All Season tires in a space big enough for a looging truck to pull out of the way of another.
Ride rocks for 5kms or buy a Sled Deck, the choice seems like yours.

And also thanks for the Update photo above, but sorry the Guy on the Yella T3's FXR kit totally doesn't match the Sled there bud.... Less money on Busch beer, more loot on color coordination.
Get a neon yellow wrap or stay off the mountain please.

Someone has to bring a little reality to the Forums, all these Bertans think sleddin' is like a episode of Ice Road Truckers, all about the 40 foot trailers and sketchy road factor...

Going on 3 pages, and not 1 person can post a legit measurement of snow pack... We want pics. Don't make me take this to the Yamacam thread and b#tch about the Generator not working... And heh if they have a generator why can't they put up lights so we can get live Pow depth updates be4 we roll coal outta Sure-Wood Park : Revy Bound Baaaaby! .... Break out the Prime Rib and Good Rye Zala's 45' trailer and Platty inbound!!!!

All sled decks except the Platty and 4 place we brought lots of parking and quite a few trucks today. 4’ feet on the cabin marker and 1-2 feet’ of powder to be had on an ok Base. Still tree tops and rocks around. It was a great 2 day trip. Nothing Broken.

1 more re-load and it will be awesome riding.

Dont be that guy!!! 4 places are for the parking lot, decks and small trailers for early season,

I wonder if we are talking about the same hill? We have taken a 4 place a short distacne up these trails a multitude of times in the past for late season and early season riding. We were not only able to turn around but easily got by the other 4 places already parked and left enough room for many other 4 places to park. Having said that, being the accuracy of your account of how I maintain my equipment, and the money I have to spend, I do appreciate your insightful first hand account of the conditions.

I do look forward to more educational and insightful exchanges with you in the future.

Conditions were pretty good for early season... still lots creeks open and the typical rocks! Another 3-4 feet its gonna be good... although we did have excellent snow the past few days. Here's a little vid just really showing snow this was I just coming out from lower lake chutes. Weather & open creeks held us from going further back but didn't really matter rode untracked pow for few days.

With proof of current membership with any BC club that supports the BC Snowmobile Federation we will offer you a $5 discount off your daily pass. Thanks for supporting the BCSF.

We will have groomed both Frisby and Boulder 3 times when we start to charge.
Parking on Boulder is at the 3 km junction and up the Bezanson. Frisby you are parking at 2 km up at the Streeter St. junction.

We expect it to be a busy wknd with the America Thanksgiving. Looks like new snow up top starting Wed. and in the valley starting Fri.
Again it is suggested you use a sled deck and or a 2 place open trailer, have good winter tires and 4x4 when travelling up steep forest service rds.

Stop in at the Welcome Centre we have all our new RSC merchandise in now. Proceeds from these sales benefit RSC events.
