horse power vs weight, is the big thing, I ride a fourstroke turbo they are heavy but less noticeable at high elevation, because they don't lose hp, like a two stroke..... so have more hp is a huge advantage the weight stays the same, when you ride a fourstroke it is a totally different handling machine, when your on the power it will go anywhere, and contrary to public opinion you can ride off and on the throttle like a two stroke, and its much easier to handle and predict. Yes they are heavy, however when you get the extra 100 hp at the top of the hill, the weight is not such a big deal... Jumping on a fourstroke and taking a pull up the hill and back or a ten minute ride is not going to be your best experience. Lots of people have been converted to the 4 stroke but after riding for a day or two and really understanding how it works... then and only
then you can appreciate the hp in very close to stock form...

I suspect 595-615.....four strokes will always be heavier than 2smoke.....that's why I have 1 of each now

The engine they are saying is 10 lbs lighter but they added tunnel cooling. So I think it's going to be close to viper weight. I'm going to try and weigh some sleds at the April 1 preview show. Hopefully don't get kicked out when I bring the scales in. lol.

Wouldn't it weigh the same as a turboed viper, give or take a few?

Motor weights should be close to the same then add the turbo.. Cant see alot of differences in the chassis from the viper . I got my turbo viper down to 620 full fuel after a few parts an mods

You say they added tunnel cooling? i've asked this question several times now with no reply.
I'm not concern about weight, i ride the sled and don't go around lifting them. They are all heavy when stuck, including Polaris or Doo. My Nytro clocks in at 620 wet, so if this new Yami comes in about the same or a few pounds less bonus.
If it has a radiator, i'm not interested.

No radiator. Tunnel, bulkhead and tail coolers.

My 2015 Viper is 600 wet with MPI, light delete from Mountain fit. Regarding the radiator, I like it. Virtually no ice build up on the tunnel. I am curious to see how the sidewinder does with ice. My old Nytro really built up a ton.
