Anyone hear of what the big 4 are doing for 2017? New chassis, engine, features, nothing new but decals?

Theories maybe?

Speculation should get hopes up.

I think a 330 built on the 120 bulkhead with a 120" or 129" X 1.75" or 2" with a 32" ski stance would be awesome. My 7 year old is bored of his stock 120. I need to do a build but not sure if i can justify the 5-6K to do the build with just a 206 B&S unless I get one of the Japanese mini turbo's for it.

But back to what the thread is all about. The big four need to come up with an in-between for the 'big' little guys in 2017. I'm positive they would sell them faster than any other sled ever produced. The market would be huge everywhere in North America.

As for us 'Big Kids', I would guess Doo will finally come out with a stock 860 or 880 and have a factory (Dealer installed with warranty) turbo.

Well, Cat already played one of their 2017 cards. Snowbikes. You can bet that Polaris will have a rebranded KTM (do they still have a close tie with them?) with a Timbersled track soon too.

Sled sales overall are not doing so well as to generate all-new same-old, same-old. The OEMs are gonna be looking to drive new markets, not pander to dwindling existing ones.

The growing snowlike market is getting quite interesting, definitely going to be worth watching. As for sleds, I don't see anything mind blowing coming out. Maybe some more efficient clutching, and factory turbos.

Ya I agree that there will be no big changes in the 2017 sleds.

Now that we got hat out of the way...........

Is it time to start the 2018 thread yet???? LMFAO

I do not foresee any big changes.

Polaris just released the Axys, don't even know what the result of that will be yet.

Doo has the XM T3, and by all reports on here it is the best snowmobile to graced by the snow gods and there is no improving upon perfection.

Cat and Yamaha keep building whatever it is they build.

Some refinements to snow bikes, Cat's snowbike kit which was supposed to have more info released in the near future hasn't made any splashes. No agreement currently with KTM and Polaris that is public knowledge anyways and Polaris owns no part of them. That trial was short lived. There were options to merge but it never happened. So will Cat be first to the party with a full factory released snowbike? Not sure, but there will be one at some point.

Although the Suzuki 800 is the most reliable engine in its class......Cat has had great success with their 600 C-Tec for a few years now....I would imagine a similar designed 800 class will emerge soon....maybe 2017?

Isn't there contract or deal with Suzuki done right away? I think cat will be the next big release. Maybe a new doo chassis soon.

Everyone wants something new and exciting but what the hell else are they going to do?!? No body can complain about any of the new sleds.

Rumors were flyin that 2016 for the 800 C-Tec. Must have needed more testing?
