2018s will, 2017 had the body work but not chain case or narrower boards.
I bought a 2017 King Cat from T&T yesterday. It has the D&R, narrow boards & new body. The 18 has a QSL rear shock, but I bought it over the counter. Now the only difference between my 17 & an 18 is color.

So how are you guys liking the KingCat? Any seat time out on the snow yet?Sure don't hear much about them but I guess there aren't that many out there

Got a chance to take it out for a few days, still dealing in the suspension. Love the power, & handling. Big improvement chassis wise vs. a stock 1100T Suzuki, & it will get better once the suspension is dialled in to suit me.

I guess I'll add a bit more of a review on the 2017 King Cat. After coming off sleds with custom (Kmod) suspension, the stock skid works better then anything Cat has had previously. But I'm installing a Kmod under the King Cat, as I'm old and like the ride. Handling is far better then a stock M1100T, comparable to my 1100 that has had 90 lbs of weight reduction, Kmod skid, Exit shocks and a 16 front end, among a ton of other stuff.
Fit and finish is far better then previous Cats, the Team clutching works very well out of the box, belt is still holding up. I've done a few things to the sled to make it "mine", but make no mistake, it is the best 4S I've ridden out of the crate. I've added the following:
- B&M Fabrications "skinny" boards with billet traction blocks
- EVO Stage 4 reflash with bullet muffler, BOV, and silicone charge tubes
- Thunder Products 911 cover and adjustable weights, glide washers
- Delrin washers in secondary
- Cat accessory front and rear bumpers
- Polaris Gripper skis
- Taller riser
- Mtn Addiction fuel can and bag
- Mtn windscreen (is actually a bag)
- Handlebar bag
- Skid plate
- And will be installing a Kmod Gen 2 suspension with my own spring calibrations. I think that is all this sled will ever need. Bear in mind I normally ride a 285hp 4S that works really well, and weighs about 80 lbs more then my M800 S/P Ltd 162". So the King Cat / Sidewinder is a winner in my eyes.
