2016 Hunting Pictures

Moose, elk, deer, birds or what ever you have harvested for the freezer lets see what you got.
Hope everyone has a successful hunting season!

As always we were out for opening day goose hunt.
Got a total of 29birds. Not bad considering we are not near a flyway.
But it is pretty close to the house to hunt.
Just as last year my daughter and her Barreta were knocking down the geese.
She also did "backup vocals" for me this year when calling birds in.


Was in tree stand for one night and had a bull elk at about 80 yards but that was as close as we got.
Not a flinch of call response to hochie mama yet. To early in area????

Also seen 2 bucks and six does felt good to be in the bush again

My Son's girlfriend got her first Billy yesterday.





She's pretty darn happy. He just realized where the truck is! Shot it at 2:00pm......got it down to the truck at midnight.

Used to hunt up along the Yukon/NWT border. I think up in the whole area there are the biggest moose of anywhere. On the walls of the cabins, guys would write the measurements and the date. It was amazing how big some of the racks were.
