Hows the snow up top holding up for April 8th? Heading up next weekend just looking for a general update. As long as we are not driving to the 15KM mark like in November were coming!

The road is going to be plowed on April 11 up to the 3km junction.
Reports have 300 sleds up there today.

Conditions still good and caribou closures are opening on the 16th.
Let the riding begin.....Lots of open spots then.

Biggest day of the season for us 311 sleds on the hill. Thanks Yamaha Motor Canada for holding the event again in Revy and for being the club`s longest and stongest supporter for many yrs., Yamafest #15 in the books.
Like Kimrick said the rd. up Boulder is being plowed on Tues. Apr. 11, access is closed this day!!!!!

The Westside entrance by Peaks is closed now because of no snow and Streeter St. (Boulder/Frisby connector) is also closed for the same reason.

You are still riding from the lot at Frisby. Another reminder, the closure areas are open to ride on Sun. Apr. 16.

We will continue to groom through the Easter holiday wknd.

Boulder Main Road is plowed now to 3 km junction. There is parking at two km but do not block gate to the gravel pit. Parking at this time is extremely limited, it is recommend no large trailers, trucks and decks only. Road can be slippery in sections until it melts off. There will be no controlled parking so please park smart. If parking on the road make sure vehicles can get by. Caution should be used on the shoulders of the road, they are soft. Overall road is in pretty good shape but again, parking is very limited and turn around space is also very limited, especially for large units.

Please be aware that as April 18 active gravel hauling will start on the Boulder Main Road from the 2 km down. Use caution when going up and coming down the road and watch for large gravel trucks.
This is now a plowed Industrial Road so no snowmobile use on the road is allowed on the plowed sections.

Great day today at Boulder. Parking was a bit of a gong show but hey can't complain about only having to drive up to 3 km! Ride untouched all day from last nights dump which varies from 1-1.5 feet depending on where you were. Pretty socked in all day with some sunny breaks here and there for a few minutes. Trails were buttery smooth and holding up really well. Only 1 brown spot all the way up. Winter is still alive and well!!

Shoutout to the fawkheads that thought it would be cool to ride the closure on Frisby before it opened. Went up and hit it at 12:15 Sat night and a crew of probably two had put tracks through a good portion of it already and built the worlds smallest kicker. Skiff of snow on their tracks showed it was probably around 4pm Saturday that they were in there, no one else was on the mountain when we were. A number of older tracks in there as well, good job dickheads.

We had a run in with few guys up frisby yamafest weekend, they were in the closure so I went over and told them to get out in a nice manner, they did leave but figured it wasn't there fault cause the signage is poor. I told them it's YOUR responsibility to know where your allowed to ride. It's posted in the cabin with a good map showing so you know where to look for the signs. We got a bit heated over it so we just left before it escalated more. At least they left it alone was the main thing.

In them hills.
Thanks for stepping up to the plate and informing the riders, rather then saying we watched these guys!!
"we watched these guys try to get another area closed"

Good job guys, and a heli never showed up to hand out tickets, so they should have bought you a beer.

When does the Caribou closures open anyway, must be soon?

It opened on the 16th which is why we popped up to hit it just after midnight for first tracks except some dickbags rode it the afternoon of the 15th while still closed. You won't see helicopters ticketing the Frisby closure as it's voluntary but will become mandatory if it's trespassed.
