I have a 2015 M8000 with 2000kms on it. I tried starting it yesterday, it fired once but wouldn't again... Tried leaving the heat on in the garage, pulled and cleaned plugs, have good spark. Played with the tether and key, nothing. Will not fire.. It ran fine when I put it away 2 weeks ago. Has anyone had this happen, do you know what might be the issue? I suspect bad gas or injector issue...

Not much of an expert but is it possible if it's not spark (ignition issues) could it be fuel such as maybe a throttle position sensor? Have you tried unhooking the TPS.

It is not electric start. I havn't tried unplugging anything. Where is the TPS? I would think if it were a sensor it would start but put in limp mode and cue a code...

I know very little about the Cats so someone will jump in and be able to help you. Just think that it's probably something very simple (hopefully inexpensive) that's giving you grief in your fuel delivery since you say you have spark.

Not flooded. I pulled it over with the plugs out as well. No fuel came out. Didn't change with throttle held wide open. But I'm not sure how the injection system works.

Yes my next attempt was going to be trying to put some fuel into the cylinders like he did. Does anyone know where the TSS or TPS is located? I will tryplug that and see if it fixes it. Something must be telling it to not to inject fuel.

Hope you get it sorted out. If you don't get a knowledgeable answer here just Google the TPS etc and should be able to figure it out. Let us know if it gets you back on the snow.

It is most likely the throttle safety switch if you were in lots of powder and rolled it over to get unstuck the tss can get packed full and cause issues. Mine did this yesterday it would start but not rev up. To check it the pin holding the throttle lever needs to move freely, the cable needs to be adjusted correctly and the top of the lever must move forward and in toward the center of the machine. Its hard to explain and if your not sure check a new one at a dealer or a buddy. You can bypass this switch simply by disconnecting it as AC use a normally open ignition. I don't recommend this as it is a safety, that being said many have. You could add a tether but still does not detect any type of cable issues.

Yea from what I've been reading and talking with others about, it is most likely the tss. I will try unplug it and see if that renders the problem. I will let you know how it goes:)
