The idea of modern snowmobiles being an articulated mechanical adequacy that not only frees the human phenomena...blinds the ego to the infinity of the eternal "now", visiable only through the universally concerned intellectual optics of integrity.....

Nailed it.

So then it's a GOOD thing that Cat isn't participating in the sneak peeks this year? Could be an indication that they are not doing all that well as a company. BRP, Yamaha and Polaris all have very successful lines of 'other season' offroad gear. Don't see a lot of AC quads and side by sides in the bush and they don't do outboard motors or motorbikes. Hopefully we aren't on the verge of losing a manufacturer. Diversity is a good thing.

No idea why Cat would choose not to participate, but totally agree, I hope lots of profitability and success comes their way in the future. Better for us when they are all healthy and striving for market share.

Now for the facts , just back from the Arctic Cat dealer meeting , worry not about financial status there are up again for the flour the yr 13%increase nice , third year of the proclimb chassis sees it tweaked and refined to perform as a winner !!

The rational for not participating in the shows is two fold first not all perspective buyers can make it to the sneak peek! Dealers included SOOOOO. ARCTIC CAT is giving the dealersthe 2015 sleds two each..... To display to all customers in their area, they are In route to your dealers now !!! You may be able to ride them!! You may even be able to buy them! On the ride program not the ESP,,,,, an Yamaha is doing a similar thing in displaying a le viper at the dealer that can not be sold till fall ..... So customers may not have to drive 3 hours each way to go and check out the 2015's.

Yamaha will have great winter season in 2015 with a combination of the proclimb chassis Nytro engine the viper will be a hit for cross over andmountain riders , add the turbo option for 2500 plus 500 install and win win win....

with some minor refinements on the proclimb line up Arctic Cat new entry level models this too will be advantageous to new buyers....

So basically you still Have to drive to see the new 2015 models from Polaris and skidoo, so is it still a disadvantage for arctic cat to not take part in the sneak peek? IMO. They are going to. Hit the target market and more existing customers and for more than a day! They say it is expensive to participate. In the sneak peek shows however they believe in investing in their customers and it is an obliviously broader coverage event when the new models are at your local dealer and will be for the your viewing on your schedule, I know I will receive a 2015 m8000 ltd as well as a m9000 ltd .....

Rumours and speculations put to rest by T&T POWER SPORTS LTD .... Your welcome....

ride ides safe, ride with friends and ride often!!

Terry

Fair enough. To me the sneak peak is unnecessary. I've made my decision long before the show gets to town.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Clode again.

The cat / yamaha dealer in stoon had a viper for a week last spring, had billboards up. Im sure that got some people in but not nearly as marketed as the sneak peek.

Im usually in the other sections as much as im in the polaris one, probably more so.

I already snow checked my sled prior to the snow last year.

Not after hearing the REAL TRUTH....not just hearsay....Thanks Terry!
I am one that favours the sneak peek concept. Gives peeps a chance to see all the brands in one building. You can sit on all four, tip them, lift them ,disect them and gather all the info you need to make a decision that fits you best. I did not say anything about Cat having financial problems and it is great that a Terry filled us in. If I was interested in looking at all brands before buying the one stop concept would seem to fit the bill better. Obviously Cat has done there research and feels this is the direction they want to go. If it works great. If not then I'm sure they will be back?

Seems to me that having all the manufacturers under one roof can't but help. how do you expose your product to everyone if you stick to your own dealerships? How else do you get the dootards to look at the Polaris, Polidiots to look at the Cats or the Arctic C%&ts to look at the BRP products?

Actually.....it gives most of us no chance to see anything from any of them.

However, the 2015 turbo Viper MT that was at our poker run for people to try out yesterday gave a whole lot of us a chance to see/ride something new.
