2015 proclimb 800 not getting on top of snow very well

I have a buddy that just purchased a new 2015 arctic cat 800 with a 2.6 inch 153 track,we're having trouble getting this sled to get up on top of the snow tried different suspension set ups no luck..tried to set rear up same as my 2016 hcr which works awesome still no luck...any ideas would be appreciated

Assuming your similar size riders , clutches working good shifting out ? Ski pressures the same ? 3" will pop up way easier . And is 1.6 lbs lighter , clutching ? Does it pull rpm , suspension shock pressure ? Standing or sitting rider , rider weight , lots of variables on new sled , ski stance set up ?

Correct me if im wrong but 16 hcr doesnt have the 3", so getting on top of the snow should be the same if not better for the 15 because the hcr track is harder rubber and doesnt work quite as well in powder, anyway play with the front shock on the rear skid, that should make the most difference

Ya Thanks was his front shock in skid must of hit something hard messed up the shock,replaced works better now

Did the same to my 11 m8 a few years ago, thing just trenched badly but still rode good on the trail, never even thought about that
