I don't own my own business, and i didn't pay cash. Truck isn't for work, Totally personal for sledding in the winter with buddies, and camping in the summer with the family. It's not an investment, but I'll have it for years to come. I'm also not house broke and work hard for what I have. I chose to buy a new loaded diesel.
The point of me starting the thread was to make sure I wasn't going to get hosed as the auto industry still isn't the most transparent industry.
As for the truck, I'm super happy with it. 12.4L/100km empty (calculated, amazingly the computer is very accurate as well). It will be interesting to see what I get loaded with 2 on the deck and 2 on the open trailer vs 4 in the enclosed trailer.
. They're all fun.And a Can Am and Skidoo to boot!
I am paying less than that for this, but I get deals through employer.
My 15 chev gets the same mileage when I'm empty on the highway but as soon as I hook up my enclosed or even put two sleds or quads on the sled deck the mileage drops way off. If seen 23 litres per 100 km with just two quads on the sled deck!!.
towing my travel trailer I've ranged from 18 litres to 25 litres per 100 km
let me know what yours gets towing
Christ, 80,000? ; is that all? I guess it does have black wheels and nice tires lol.
Corvette stingray with almost 20k left over. Just saying. New truck prices are out of this friggin world imo.
Is your truck completely stock?I just got 17.8l/100km going to revy, 11 dually with two sleds, winters, 2 guys etc. Was doing about 110-120kmh, what speed were you traveling at? Is this a single wheel?
Did you clear the economy counter before the trip or has it been going for a while?
