I don't own my own business, and i didn't pay cash. Truck isn't for work, Totally personal for sledding in the winter with buddies, and camping in the summer with the family. It's not an investment, but I'll have it for years to come. I'm also not house broke and work hard for what I have. I chose to buy a new loaded diesel.

The point of me starting the thread was to make sure I wasn't going to get hosed as the auto industry still isn't the most transparent industry.

As for the truck, I'm super happy with it. 12.4L/100km empty (calculated, amazingly the computer is very accurate as well). It will be interesting to see what I get loaded with 2 on the deck and 2 on the open trailer vs 4 in the enclosed trailer.

I am paying less than that for this, but I get deals through employer.

Christ, 80,000? ; is that all? I guess it does have black wheels and nice tires lol.

Corvette stingray with almost 20k left over. Just saying. New truck prices are out of this friggin world imo.

My 15 chev gets the same mileage when I'm empty on the highway but as soon as I hook up my enclosed or even put two sleds or quads on the sled deck the mileage drops way off. If seen 23 litres per 100 km with just two quads on the sled deck!!.
towing my travel trailer I've ranged from 18 litres to 25 litres per 100 km

let me know what yours gets towing

Update on fuel milage. Truck is still bone stock with 5000 kms, running arctic claw studded winters (stock size). 2 sleds on the deck (full of fuel), all gear, and 2 guys. 16.5 L/100 km going to blue river and back. I'm quite happy with the milage. Last day filled up in Vale, drove to blue and rode for the day, drove home to Stony with just under a 1/4 left in the tank. Prob be able to make it to Revy without stopping if I drive a bit nicer.

I just got 17.8l/100km going to revy, 11 dually with two sleds, winters, 2 guys etc. Was doing about 110-120kmh, what speed were you traveling at? Is this a single wheel?

Did you clear the economy counter before the trip or has it been going for a while?

It's the white one at the start of this thread. 2015 gmc 3500 srw short box. I did reset the counter before i left but the milage was calculated (0.1L/100km worse than the computer).

Ya truck is completely stock.

I get 18-20/100 around town depending how much it idles in winter warm ups. 23-25/100 pulling enclosed 4 place. 18-20/100 with 2 on th deck, depending on speed.

9th injector just went bad on me, truck keeps regening, gotta drop it off at dealer Monday, they have 10year warranty on that injector now.

I can make Edmonton from Revy with 2 sleds on deck. 2013 Denali dual wheel. All Stock with snow tires. And I pass lots of ski tards too. Average around 115. Computer shows 16/100 average. 13 litre/100 empty

Well what they hell is wrong with mine. Damn thing

I do drive like a bit of an old man. I don't hammer on it going up the hills. Drive between 95-120km/h depending on traffic. I don't pass a bunch unless I can get to the front of the pack either. I have noticed that it sips a little less fuel around the 120km/h mark. I also find if I leave it on the instant fuel economy screen that I'm even less aggressive. Empty I've had it down as low a 10.5L/100 cruising at 120.
