Anyone with some updates on snow conditions? How is the trail into Chappel?

The Chappell trail will be in great shape after tonight's groom. Please be very careful in the area. It is surrounded by caribou closures. With this long a period of no snow, if there are no tracks in a certain spot it is very likely for this reason.

Sledded allen creek on Jan 9 she is pounded right to the back ran scratchers back to the wall no fresh to be found.... This whole area needs a reset of snow

Rode Clemina on Sunday Jan 10. Trail was in awesome shape, real wide, no ice. Started at goat ridge bowl, pretty pounded. Then headed toward lake view meadows, was the same condition, not much untouched unless you play in the trees. Headed over to hill climb then towards bauers second chance, some areas left to still play a bit. Found some ok powder in these areas. Then just went on a tour for a bit to Morning Glory. not much difference, still some areas left in the trees to play and the way in. The snow in Clemina seems about 2' higher than the snow we been at in the Renshaw at mcbride. Not many rocks at all showing. A scary layer of hoar frost on the top though. Was fairly pleased with our ride today, looks very promising for a good year with another dump which looks to be soon by the looks of the sky as we left. Curtis great job grooming and on all the signage. And it wasn't hard to find a few areas with untouched snow.

Nice vid! Me and three others are in Vale heading to Allen creek today in hopes of finding snow. Anyone out there know if they got anything fresh? Willing to go to blue river or mcbride tomorrow if there is fresh white stuff!!!

Sure a few snowflakes have been falling although it is certainly not what we were hoping for. We are getting bits and pieces followed by breaks in weather. 10cm in the Allen creek lot this morning and maybe not that much in the alpine near the cabin....this can change at anytime, all we need is one good snowfall for things to really change in the valley although we sure do need that one big snowfall.

What this little bit of new snow is falling on is not good and as we get more snowfall, riders will need to quickly adjust to this new snowpack and the hazards below.

Sorry, I must be on the wrong thread, I was looking for the thread about Valemont snow conditions? Did valemont get any quantity up top yesterday or today?
