You don't need nordlocks on the y-pipe bolts anymore, not since they went to larger diameter bolts a few years ago.
Why the new suspension brackets Rowdy?
Does she mean the drop brackets? Baker has a nice add on piece.
There have been t mo failures though. Bad welds on the bottom brackets. BRP says they were only aware of 6 but there have been more that dealers haven't been willing to deal with.

Yes I believe its the drop brackets she is talking about. We have seen 1 failure on that bottom bracket you mentioned at our store from bad welds. I question the need for new drop brackets. There is no performance or cosmetic gain. They are designed to strengthen the stock rear brackets for Bakers coupled rear suspension kit. Just offering advice on this end but it isn't my money.
Agreed, not needed for stock skid. Must be some reason someone would suggest she get them.

ice age once told me that the only rails theyve ever had come back bent were powdercoated. take it how you want but i bent a set that i powdercoated and they replaced them with bare alum ones and theyve been holding up for thousands of miles. the coated set didnt make it back to the truck on the first day! but that being said ive powdercoated many sets of rails and never an issue so who knows really. theres a thread i made about this a few years ago that went on for many pages with lots of good info. see if you can track it down. couple of coating companies chimed in
Why not just leave the rails black? Black matches with everything and then you don't have to worry about all of this. Your rails will be covered in snow 90% of the time anyways. I would not get your rails baked though even at lower temps once their heated they will lose their Rockwell Hardness. Anodizing in my opinion is the only way to go.
Ok...reading more of the XM threads. Roosterbuilt clutch kit is being added to the list. lol
Also, read some things about people changing out the suspension in the rear skid. Have there been reported problems with this?!
Nothing against Paul and his companies clutching. Great product. But what lacked in the clutching of the demo XM's you rode that you want to swap it before you ride it?
