You're correct, it didn't. Brp and bombardier are two completely separate companies. Brp has never received any aide and they have completely different owners.

They became 2 companies in 2003.....govt aide was pre 2003 when they were still one company!
Yes, the aide was meant to be for different divsions within Bombardier, but it was all given to the same company.
Lighten up on us poor doo guys! You should have loaded up that new Cat M7.8 (No cats have it all together
) and rode with us on the weekend. You need to go for a ride.......badly. Now lets get back to dreaming of a 1000Etec.

Using government money to further an already profitable division would be terrible business when the rest of your divisions are failing. That would just lead to further failing. If bombardier didn't get government money, and went under, I would bet that someone else would have purchased the recreational division and spun it off, just like BRP is now. It may not be called BRP, but I bet they would still be called Ski-Doo.

Did a midnight ride, well almost. We all went up at 10:30PM to the top of Lucille dome, looked at the stars and town lights, took a few pics then came down at about 11:30 and hopped in the hot tub. Amy was scooting down the trail at night at about 70, crazy like her dad.
Todd gave the kids wheelie rides during the day on his turbo. Julia grinned for about an hour after her ride.
Was another good year, booked all the cabins for next year again.

well, Cat may not have the deep pockets of BRP today....I'm not really sure actually but I don't recall Arctic Cat getting billions in govt aide.....
I do know that Cat is a pretty solid company today.....strong, stable.....hmmmmph...and they did it on their own, cool!

Is Artic Cat the Untited states only Jet manufacturer? Do they manufacturer jets or trains? Are they in the areo space industry? Are they even a Canadian company? Comparing the company Artic Cat to Bombardier is laughable.
